Thought I would share some work from our preschoolers on robots. We have been exploring various ways of building robots through art, blocks and other various building materials and introduced a tinker trays! So many ways to build a robot! And other things...like aliens, spaceships and astronauts or a cat!

Hello Parents and supporters of Eagle View Child Development Inc. As of Thursday our site along with many other sites where there may be parents have been experiencing a high volume of disparaging posts or bad reviews, some who have never had interactions with Eagle View. None of these statements are true in nature and frankly have started to not make sense. Sadly, the nature of this activity warrants a public statement on this matter. ... The individual behind the posts, is in fact a disgruntled employee who was after a brief term of employment fired for unethical practices with children. The unfortunate defamation and disparaging comments having continued for many months in retaliation. We believe mental health to be a factor resulting in numerous police reports being filed. This individual is to have zero contact with Eagle View Child Development Inc or its employees but after almost a year this individual is struggling to move on. It has been very difficult having to share this statement. This type of behavior does not belong in ECE and we do not wish to be associated or connected to this individual. We have chosen to ignore and not respond up until now but with the increased activity we feel its necessary to end this and let parents hear our voice. WE STAND for licensing regulations, professionalism and the code of Ethics that govern all those in ECE. Our practice has always shown the upmost respect and understanding of these qualities. WE STRIVE to offer child focused, play based, quality programming to children and families from our community. OUR TEAM is experienced, nurturing and knowledgeable and their respectful approach is represented in their work each and every day. My team is amazing! There is a REASON we are a respected highly sought after childcare program, is the undeniable passion, love and high level of care that is provided to each and every child! THIS is the "why". For every one bad review we can provide a 500 hundred positive and some which were life changing. Thats what we stand for! And where our focus will remain... on the children! Always be kind

This year, we have had to think outside the box when it came to Halloween. Many families are choosing to remain home and social distance. I got this idea with my friend Danielle to do a little parade/walk by her office and she would hand out covid safe treats. I also reached out to my other friend from the street over, Marie Louise Towers and she welcomed us to walk by too! We had a route and our plan was formed! Operation suprise trick or treat plan was a go! So, we got our... costumes on and headed out for a walk. How thrilled the children were when they realized they were getting to trick or treat!! This turned into such a magical walk/ parade as cars stopped to honk, shop owners and employees came to their windows or pop out their doors to wave, everyone shouting happy halloween!! My favorite part was getting to see the many the Elders and their reactions of pure joy! Some in cars or walking by on the other side of the street. A simple walk brought joy to so many and lifted all our hearts! Thank you to Jones and Co and Kaos Kids for helping us bring a little magic to our children this halloween! Xxxooo See more

I have some incredible Educators on my team (and not all my team but those who could attend) In honor of their hard work through these covid times we had a night to care for them. These ladies and gent show up each day ready to start a new day. They know they will work hard, they know they will have so much disinfecting, extra everything these days... yet they come with a smile most importantly the children feel loved and nurtured xo Thank you to this bunch, you make me so proud, Bobbi xo

Just a little later, covid has had that affect on life these days. We found a way to socially distance and celebrate our kindies!!! It was a beautiful afternoon, amazing supportive families and we are so proud of our Kindergarten Children. We hope all our graduates are enjoying Kindergarten, we miss you all dearly OH BUT THE PLACES YOU WILL GO! Xxooo

Today is Caregiver Appreciation Day!!! This year we celebrated a little differently. Covid has changed so many things but one thing that has not changed is the Love, Dedication, kindness, Willingness to show up, and such passion my Educators bring with them each day. We are the support system for these families, we bring consistency and routine, especially now when this has been taken away from so many children. Although we hold our fears close, we carry on, we hug those tea...rs away, we high five and we just pause when it all gets too much for our little people and we wash our hands. We bring smiles, we find wonder and magic through play, we stay up late preparing materials and come in early to set up... all for the love of what we do... that is to have a positive impact on the life of a child. My team changes because life happens but one thing is for sure I am always grateful and blessed for the hard work that my team gives each day. I am so proud of my current team and how they have come together, its exceptional! Today we honored the work you do , spaghetti lunch and all!! This is such a sweet little classroom during this covid time, our Educators took an opportunity to freshen up this space and add some new furniture. This is just the beginning of our Reggio inspired Infant Toddler space!! When the creative thinkers come together anything is possible!

After a lengthy in depth conversation about what we know about bears we brought our ideas to the table and the children explored a little more and drew some bears

EAGLE VIEW PRESCHOOL Bears have been a hot topic at preschool...so we built a bear den. The children have loved the forest animals and have been talking about hibernation since January. Curiosity, wonder and exploration has been a theme as we learned more about Bears and other Hibernating animals

Just want to take a moment as say Thank You to all those families who truly have been so supportive this week! Some of our hardworking staff have been off sick, we've seen some sick children, had snow storms, undrivable conditions and forced to close programs. Your flexibility, support and genuine concern has not gone unnoticed. Your offers to help drive, arranging playdate and offering kind works in a stressful situation We just appreciate our families SO much and your incredible support is so appreciated!!
