Happy November everyone! Kara's overdue for a welcome so here we go: :) Hi, I'm Kara! I recently joined Eaglewood Chiropractic Health Centre. I'm that lovely voice you sometimes get greeted with when you call in to make an appointment with us, otherwise you get the infamous Dr Wilson Wong. I'm a Certified Laser Therapist, a Continuing Care Assistant and I also have my Level 1 in Usui Reiki Energy Healing. It's November! We hope everyone stayed safe yesterday! Here's a lighthearted joke for the day :) ----------... Those who spend much time in a doctor's office will understand. Doesn't it seem more and more that physicians are running their practices like an assembly line? Here's what happened to Johnny: Johnny walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Johnny said: 'Shingles.' So she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat. Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked Johnny what he had.... Johnny said, 'Shingles.' So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Johnny to wait in the examining room. A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Johnny what he had. Johnny said, 'Shingles..' So the nurse gave Johnny a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Johnny to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor. An hour later the doctor came in and found Johnny sitting patiently in the nude and asked Johnny what he had. Johnny said, 'Shingles.' The doctor asked, 'Where?' Johnny said, 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??'
