Preparation for the fifth annual Earl Bales Park Arts and Music Festival is underway. This one-day event will take place on Sunday, September 16th 2018 from 12 to 8 pm in Earl Bales Park rain or shine. Admission to this family-friendly festival is free and will feature a variety of musical performances and works from local artist...s representing the diverse cultures and communities of the area. The festival is being presented by Successful Woman Council with the support of the City of Toronto and many local community organizations. Our primary community partner is the North York Arts, a non-profit organization that provides the opportunity for individuals, private and public foundations, corporations and government agencies to invest in and strengthen the arts in Toronto. 4th Annual Earl Bales Park Art & Music Festival Sunday, June 26th: Celebrating the Art and Cultural Diversity of North York and Toronto. Earl Bales Park Art & Music Festival is a free, one-day event celebrating the arts and cultural diversity of North York and other communities of Toronto. The festival is aimed to be established as an annual event in Earl Bales Park located at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue, within the boundaries of Ward 10. It featur...es performances of local musicians, showcases a great variety of artworks by Toronto emerging and established artists, and allows the public to enjoy the food offered by local restaurants. The festival is for people of all ages and abilities. The festival aims to improve North York community’s overall image, bringing people together for a celebration of cultural riches and diversity of the North York area. The festival has been taking place since 2013. It attracted thousands of visitors, allowed volunteer opportunities, and got extremely positive feedback from the members of the diverse local communities of all ages and different backgrounds. Call for Artist Vendors! Earl Bales Park Arts & Music Festival Come and be a part of one of North York’s up and coming showcases for art and music! The 3rd edit...ion of the Earl Bales Park Art and Music Festival will take place on June 28, 2015 at Earl Bales Park, 4169 Bathurst Street (Bathurst and Sheppard) from 12pm to 6pm. Submissions are currently being accepted by North York Arts to be a part of the Earl Bales Festival Arts Market. The Arts Market is open for visual artists working in all media including but not limited to oils, acrylic, pastel, illustrations, photography, crafts, sculpture, textile, collage, and mixed media. Submitting is FREE and there is no fee for participating if selected! You must include a minimum of 2 digital images of examples of work that accurately reflects the selection of work you will be showing. The submission deadline is May 15, 2015 at 5 pm. Artists are selected by a jury consisting of festival organizers and partners. Jury selections are released in June.
