Zoe Mok is on our leadership team at Earls Richmond. She has really seen herself grown within our restaurant: she started as a hostess, then became a server, and is now a leader! Zoe tells us that what really drew her to leadership was how she has always waned to help people and be the best listener she can be. Interestingly, this particular position in leadership has inspired Zoe to go back to school for Psychology in hopes of becoming a Youth Councilor for high school stud...ents. She would like to specialize in helping student’s who suffer from mental illnesses. We couldn’t be prouder of you Zoe! In the future, Zoe would also love the opportunity to travel to different parts of Europe & Asia. She tells us that this would be an amazing opportunity for her to learn more about her family background. Partners of Earls Richmond Jeff Carandang has been working in our Back of House for almost two years now. When Jeff isn’t working at Earls you will most likely find him contending in major world dance competitions! He has been a competitive Irish Dancer for almost 14 years now and considers it a large part of his life. In fact, he has competed in places such as Ireland, Boston, Glasgow and London. Jeff told us what really drew his interest in dance was when his sister began c...ompeting and he saw all the big trophies she was winning! In the future, Jeff would love to study abroad and attend school in Ireland for Marketing. He says that while travelling for dance he came to realize that Ireland was a place that he would love to call home. Another interesting fact about Jeff is he has begun to write his own fashion blog! He considers both fashion and modeling a large part of his life, which is why we couldn’t be happier for him! Partners of Earls Richmond Louisa Silva is one of our all-star hostesses at Earls Richmond. When she isn’t greeting our guests you will most likely find her at a coffee shop in Ladner sipping a soy latte, hiking a mountainor doing both at the same time. One of the things that we love about having Louisa on our team is how she has an array of different interests and hobbies. For instance, Louisa has been a competitive soccer player for over 13 years, but also enjoys paintin...g and playing the guitar as frequently as she can. An interesting fact about Louisa is she recently found out that she has a large interest in environmental studies and would like to pursue the Forestry program at UBC. She discovered her interest in this after travelling through Portugal and realizing the impact humans have on our ecosystem. In the future Louisa would like to travel to Peru and explore a part of the world she has never seen before. We can’t wait to see what the future hold for Louisa!
