To our wonderful community; we hope that this message finds you safe and enjoying the signs of spring. Due to the uncertainty of the situation we are all in we felt it was time to reach out to update you on some Earltown Farmers’ Market logistics. Unfortunately, due to budget limitations and circumstances beyond our control our market will not be operating out of the Earltown Community Centre this coming season. We are working hard to secure a new location within the communit...y and look forward to sharing more information about this with you all in the months to come. However, given the current state of Farmers’ Markets in Nova Scotia we felt it best to put our market on hold until the 2021 season (we will provide more information on this when we can). We will miss gathering with you all on fridays. We look forward to working together with all of you and building upon the wonderful energy and support we received last year from our vendors and from our community. Additionally, due to the current restrictions placed upon public gatherings, the AGM of the Earltown Farmers’ Market will be postponed indefinitely. We will provide more information on this when we are able. Recently farmers’ markets across the province have been working hard to shift to an online market presence in order to provide sales opportunities for their vendors. As the EFM does not currently have a physical location we are unable to do this at this time, however we encourage our market customers and vendors to explore the many opportunities to support small businesses and farmers' markets within Nova Scotia. We look forward to gathering with you all in the future when we are able and as always thank you for your continued support of our community and our farmers' market.
