Looking forward to some warmer weather? Here is the audience relaxing for our Summer Garden Concert - August 2020. EMSI, in cooperation with the Ancient Music Society of Victoria, presented a garden concert. The theme was outdoor music of the Renaissance, and featured A Great Noyse, performing on sackbuts, shawms and dulcian, the loud consort, or Alta Capella. The concert also featured early German bagpipes!

A huge thank to them for bringing us on their cavalcade through 18th c. Italy! Now, there are those of us who find that the joy of a concert is also to sit with people in a crowded theatre, to drink and talk about the best parts at intermission, to linger in front of the concert hall sharing impressions, and to spend the evening in good company, around a table filled with foods, drinks and conversations about music. Join us by doing this virtually together on Sunday evening.
