Happy birthday to our sweet Princess Addy! Our friends were so excited to celebrate with her! Covid makes it difficult to share treats! We decided we would share memories instead!
Our friend Lincoln was busy practicing his friends names at home! He was so excited to distribute them! It’s Money! Wow, I think Miss Janet and I lost out! So amazing! Thank-you to his wonderful parents for working with him to do this! His friends were delighted to see their names written by their Lincoln! Too sweet!!!

Good for adults too...
Loose Parts Play!!Our Marble Works was a huge success! It will be one that we play with in the weeks to come! Sheer giggles, screams of delight and surprise as marbles shot across the floor! It was great to see the value of this play. The children are learning about spatial awareness, gravity, speed, balance, fine motor skills, competence and sense of accomplishment. They are working together here to manipulate the various lengths of tubes to get marbles out. A great u...se of materials and space Children’s Observations! The big marbles help the small marbles move faster . They push on them because they are heavier. When I put the tube straight up they come out faster! Fynley The marbles in the short tube come out faster. Axton This is amazing! There are so many marbles! Aubrey If I put the bucket here I can catch them right away Evianna
We have not forgotten our little Metrine, our sponsor child from Uganda, during COVID! Every little girl needs a tutu, right!!We are just clueing up our Christmas gifts to her. Our children will be writing their letter to her tomorrow! It’s so important to teach children Kindness in the midst of tragedy! When we take care of others, God takes care of us! Giving thanks this year, because as Canadians we have so much even in the midst of COVID! Her backpack is stuffed with goodies. Sooooo excited to get this mailed to her!
Our children are very interested in speed, projectiles, balance, movement and sound. Here the children are setting up our large tubing to create a Marble Work. Step #1 involved putting our foams mats together to create a cushion area and wall to catch the marbles as the rolled out of the tubes. Make sure to put the textured side upward, said Braxton!
Families, a reminder that your November 15th pre-school fees are due today! Thank-you!
The children are loving our beautiful new wardrobe!! Which shoes shall I wear?
Skyy’s story is so inspiring! Parents, you truly are invaluable to your child. Their little heart wants to tell you. Sometimes its with a hug, or a request to read a story or play a game. Sometimes it’s just to linger on your lap or snuggle at bedtime. This little guy took loonies out of his piggy bank to thank his mom for all she does for him. The heart of a child is truly precious!
Our children love to paint, to create and to visit as they master strokes, create shapes and explore colours and textures!
Families, this weekends homework is fun! Enjoy making hot chocolate with your child. Post pictures of your child having a family board game or cards night! Make it FUN! Post your pic in the comments below! I can’t wait to see!
So much laughter this week!So I was at the snack table eating and minding my own business when this child leaps on me. Hugs me so tight that I fall off my chair and roll on the floor. We land in a pile. He still try’s to wrestle and pin me down so he can sit on my lap. No joke! We are both laughing hysterically. I can’t help myself up because I’m laughing so hard! Mrs. Janet captured it! Oh my, I just couldn’t move!
