Easter Bunny story! Hello, I am the director of the Early Childhood Family Resource Centre for the past two decades and more one of my biggest strength to kee...p our organization ALIVE with the same funding for the past 25 years is I am gifted with a highly creative mind and lots of love for my community... Most of those years I see myself as a thinking machine to strive to do engaging events that families and children find fulfilling, magical, enjoyable and make lifetime memories! Whether it be a family event, literacy event, child day event all the way through special activities and special events. Now, as I am aging (well,I believe) ,I do have some limitation with physical tasks..but we are still on board with the many special activities and creative solutions for holding special events and activities during this past year world pandemic. Thanks to a very willing team who support me. But today I would like to honor Monique Leblanc our Main Centre Coordinator, who never turndown a special project and made it happen with lots of hard work and positive energy! Monique always believes in me and when I propose a project, she engages everyone in our organization in our outside the box special activities and work tirelessly to make it HAPPEN! She is one great person to work with, always incredibly POSITIVE and believe in the magic of children learning in a creative and fun environment! THANK YOU, Monique, from ALL of US! But especially from ME! You are the BEST! And for today the Best Easter Bunny Claire See more

Mothering Resilience. As mothers living in a culture that teaches us we need to do & be all things for all people, often at the expense of our own health & well...being, our resilience suffers. Simply put, resilience is our ability to adapt to the events of our lives. When I first began exploring how I could nourish my resilience as a mom, I turned to Nature & found exactly the wisdom I needed. With large storms becoming more common over the last 10 years, some research has focused on understanding how trees (particularly in urban areas) best withstand these storms. Within this wisdom lies the clues for how we can support our own resilience as mothers. Swipe through for details & join us in the Well Rooted Mama Community for 12 Days of Mothering Resilience! Parents: Small children cant always tell the difference between a food item and a poisonous look-alike. There is enough alcohol in this small package of hand s...anitizer to cause harm to a small child if it was eaten. Treat ALL hand sanitizers--especially ones that look and smell like food, candy or toys--as you would other poisonous household products: keep them out of reach of small children. Adults should always monitor use of hand sanitizer by small children to ensure that the proper amount is used. Teach older children about the proper use of hand sanitizer, and the importance of not putting it in their mouths. See more
