Wilma-inspired art! Reggio inspired, hedgehog inspired.
We've been hearing a lot about the "Quebec model". This article breaks down where that model has been successful, and where it has had some very real problems. We can learn from their experiences by recognizing that rushing decisions and focusing on short-term economics comes at the cost of quality of care and education and lack of training and qualifications of educators.
When it’s -40 out, the obvious choice is to throw boiling water up into the air! #science #earlylearning #reggioinspired

The Gardens is looking for a computer and printer that the children can use for simple photo editing and printing. Doesnt need to be fancy. Let us know if you have something hanging around!
Can you spot who was loping through our yard early this morning?
We are really looking forward to this PD event Wednesday evening. If you are an early childhood educator, youre gonna want to check this out!
It felt like this day would never come! Finally, tomorrow, these walls will be once again filled with the sounds of children like they were built to be! Heres a sneak peek at some of the spaces waiting for them...
We have one remaining spot available for the fall, for a child requiring additional support. As per our philosophy that values diverse learners, we reserve this space for a preschooler who would benefit from special considerations to fully participate in our program. If you are interested or would like more information, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 333-0816
The Gardens has two spots still available for preschool in the fall. As per our philosophy that values diverse learners, priority will be given to children with special needs requiring some support to participate fully in our program. Thanks Google, for recognizing the incredibly difficult work that educators, both early childhood and school-age, are doing during these uncertain times

Well put Rea, we are all so proud of you for speaking about this important issue and the gaps that desperately need addressing in these uncertain times.

We were thrilled to have an amazing opportunity to share ideas and learn more about risky play, and how to make the most of our outdoor time with the wonderful folks at Rivers To Ridges
We had some flowers hanging to dry for a very long time and today we noticed that these little buds had started to grow on one of the stems. Our preschoolers are wondering what they are and how they started growing on this old dried flower stem? Anybody have any theories?
We are so amazed when we look back at all that went into making this dream a reality. Thanks for the video Devin!
We are LOVING our new magical forest. Huge thanks to J and D Logworks for the beautiful log fence and firesmarting!

We asked community members to share a word that represents their values and wishes for our early childhood space. We thought you might find their responses interesting. We sure did!
