Dear Early ON families, If you have youth in your family OR you would like to participate in this program....please read the message and instructions below: Calling all Grey Bruce Youth with Warm Hearts, Helping Hands and Generous Spirits! Introducing the Spring Break Good Deeds Project!... Looking for something to do during Spring Break? We are collecting care kits for individuals with mental health experience that live in residential programs in our communities. We are seeking: Personal Care Kits - soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, hand cream, etc. Crafty Kits - paints, canvases, beading kits, etc. Comfy Kits - fleece blankets, throw pillows, robes, comfy slippers Entertainment Kits - deck of cards, snacks, puzzle/colouring books This project is generously funded by the Focus on Youth grant program, a partnership of the Community Foundation Grey Bruce, RBC and Ledge Leadership. Most importantly, we have letter writing kits of lined paper and colouring pages for you to craft messages of love, hope and connection. Each kit comes with a self--addressed, stamped envelope. Ask us about 1 kit or enough for the whole class! All items can be dropped off to our Good Deeds Box at 1024 2nd Ave East, Owen Sound or call us to arrange pick up.
