A pretty little sneak peek from last weekend’s intimate wedding for your mid-week viewing pleasure

My boy comes home today after spending the last two months with his dad + I’m looking at another new place to rent this week [the last one fell through but that’s okay because it definitely wasn’t the right fit for me] + I’m taking the weekend for a little family getaway with my babies How are you planning to enjoy the last few weeks of summer?

Working on galleries + booking sessions + doing laundry + errands all day today. Feeling way behind but getting to escape the coast and watch my little sister marry her best friend on the weekend was so damn worth it. I definitely have a tendency to put a lot on my plate and then feel guilty about taking time off. But I’m learning to appreciate the moment and to know when to put the work away. I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately, life’s been interesting and different and emotional and stressful. But I passed my COVID test and am on my way to see my little sister (@kassieanderson17 ) get married this weekend and I couldn’t be more happy and proud of her for all the amazing choices she has made in her life.

Happy almost weekend babes! After a 10-ish day work streak (I literally can’t remember anymore) of photographing families and couples and weddings + working at my serving gig I’m taking the next couple days to soak in the sun with good friends. Life is so damn good

A couple weeks ago I drew my lines in the sand (remember that post?). I’m not going to lie to you, friends, it’s fuckin’ scary to stand up and say no to the things that no longer bring you the happiness you deserve. But on the other side of that fear something magic happens. Creativity, freedom, a full, juicy life. Learning to trust my intuition, to go with the flow, to love this beautiful life on my own terms, and taking the opportunity to say yes to some pretty awesome things (hello, spontaneous road trips!!). Because if it’s not a fuck yes, then it’s gotta be a no
