"First latches are sacred and should be watched silently, no fussing, no checks on baby or parent" - And I would actually add that first latches don't even need to be 'watched'!
A little story for you today about the amazing benefits of Red Raspberry Leaf tea for the female reproductive system! And read on down for my special prenatal tea offer for those living on PEI <3 I work part time at a Health Food store. Yesterday a man came in and wanted to buy ALL of the bulk raspberry leaf we had, and then special order 2 more large bags. Knowing what I know about raspberry leaf, I kept wondering why on earth this man would want to buy so much! He eventuall...y disclosed that it was for his horse - who had been having a problem with her ovaries and was very depressed and lethargic. He heard about raspberry leaf somehow, and started feeding it to her and saw a dramatic change! She seemed to be be fully recuperating! It was such a heart-warming and affirming story to hear! If it can help balance the reproductive system of a horse, then perhaps you may like to consider Raspberry leaf tea as a part of your pregnancy support 'team'! It strengthens and tones the uterine and pelvic muscles while also working simultaneously as a relaxant, thus helping to prepare the uterus for giving birth. Studies have shown that taking it regularly in the last trimester can make labour easier and reduce the need for medical intervention. It also has a long history in folk medicine, with the use of this herb in pregnancy dating back to the 6th century. Pictured here on the left is some raspberry leaf that I wild harvested in a very clean area near the ocean, and beside her is another nutritional powerhouse - nettle - which I harvested from a friend's property. In addition to incredible uterine support, both of these plants are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins C, A, E and a variety of B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, chromium and manganese. I am currently selling 500ml jars of this tea for $12! Sprinkled into my special Earth Blossom Prenatal blend you will also find local wild rose buds and rose hips that were gathered with intention for use in this tea for an added dose of Mama Love! *Always remember to use your own intuition about what feels right for you with your pregnancy and birth! If this plant calls to you, you will know*
