So many people ask me, what is Nia? As much as the words, a movement practice combining dance arts, martial arts and healing arts, might describe it. The JOY of movement needs to be experienced!! Sometimes trusting your intuition is the best thing, competing against The Bulk Barn would have been tough. I never really had a solid reason for closing, it was more intuitive. Ironically I had over 5 sales conversations with Bulk Barn and they always claimed the market was too niche. I am glad they finally figured out that it might be a niche market...but a very important one!! I just really hope they are importing from Nepal or India and not China, make sure you ask before you buy.

Earth's Berries has now been officially closed for almost 2 months, it has been an interesting ride to move me on to new adventures. Some of those adventures are solid and some are still floating. On this Glorious Easter Sunday morning, a day of renewal and rebirth. I am announcing the closure of Earth's Berries Ltd. The newsletter tells more of the story! I can not begin to express how blessed I feel that every single one of you has somehow touched and changed my life in the most spectacular ways. I feel blessed that over the years we have been able to help people who have been suffering for years with chemical sensitivities, auto immune disorders and skin conditions. Your stories and your faith in this company have been such a blessing and I am truly grateful for all of the love, support and trust from all of you. Well I did a 20km walk this week just to know that I could. Let the training and the savings begin. A year from now I will be boarding a plane!! So excited.

I just finished my Hospice Volunteer Course, most of it was common sense. However, there was lots of self-reflection about death, dying and disease. One thing I must admit that was not on my radar at all is LBGQT ageing community and how heading into institutions may be causing them to go back into the "closet". Such an important documentary and discussion.
