Announcing a very exciting retreat I am facilitating with Heloisa Da Silva Porto this July! Your Body, Your Earth Re-Discover a Relationship with your Physical Presence... A Healing Retreat for Men and Women Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28 Do you desire to know more about the holding, expansion, numbness and the restrictions in your body? What is your relationship with your Earth and with your body? How are you living in your body? Are you aware of your breath, your emotions, your life force running in your body and your actions? The body is the container for our life force. It carries the memories of our purpose, our past and all of our life experiences. Most importantly, it is the home of our soul. This weekend retreat will welcome those who wish to re-connect and re-discover their bodys role in keeping flow and alive-ness in their daily life. We will explore: -Both the natural and disorganized expansions and contractions of the body -Where your ancestral patterns reside physically -Rituals for healing and reconciliation with your body -Body therapies to re-establish connection and re-ignite the body -Individual and Group exercises to encourage a deeper relationship to your body In Nature, we will be given the opportunity to re-discover our Earth, and the reflection of our relationship to the Mother Earth. WHEN: Friday July 26 arrival is 2pm until Sunday July 28 1pm WHERE: Heloisas Home: Roseneath, ON (near Rice Lake) INVESTMENT: $380 plus accommodation FOOD: to be brought and shared by participants. We are offering this healing day first and foremost to help you reconnect more deeply with yourself. Most of us live in our head There is often a disconnect between mind and body. The body becomes the enemy, the one that aches, that is too fat/skinny, that is not cooperating with us. Intuition really comes as a by-product of being fully embodied, grounded, and present within ourselves. The body offers us a map to our intuition. A dream came true for me this past weekend. I was given the great honour to initiate and build a sweat lodge at the beautiful Rosseau Sanctuary, a retreat Centre in Rosseau, Ontario ... this Centre is beautiful heart-felt creation of the Inner Arts Collective. Here are some pictures taken of this process, which was incredible at every step of the way.... Much gratitude to everyone involved who made this happen. I could not have done it without the support and love of the IAC community, my friends, teachers and mentors, and most of all the loving and compassionate spirits of the land and the lodge.
