The perfect February elopement with this gorgeous couple! We brought up the Groom’s son for the Family Circle of Love, and he was so happy to be a part of the ceremony. A small group of family, a backyard fire and huge smiles all around. ... So grateful to feel the love with amazing couples like these.

This video has got me in all the feels!!! A great watch if you are curious about what the heck I actually say in a ceremony!! Plus their vows are #goals it was an honor to celebrate their love!! <3

Love isn’t cancelled! How can it be when we still get moments like these! I am feeling big time for all my couples and vendor buds who are heading into our second year of *trying* to predict the unpredictable. It’s hard to find solutions with so much unknown. What I do know is that we still need to celebrate love. We need the power of ceremony and ritual...even when it’s not perfect. Even when it’s not everyone you dreamed of attending, or in the location or the date you... planned for - even then. I’ll go so far as to say: Especially then! Because the magic of your wedding day is not dependent on anything other than your love. As long as the two of you are there, showing up in love. And when you gaze into the eyes of your beloved, that beautiful human who is choosing to walk this path of life with you - all the rest just fades away. In moments like these, Time. Stands. Still. There WILL be time + space for a big party with all your people - the only thing is none of us know when. And as hard as it is to surrender to this mystery - it’s divine work, Lovebugs. It’s part of the lifelong journey we are all on, learning how to let go of what we *think* should happen and embrace what is. Whatever you are choosing right now, know that you can’t choose wrong when you are choosing out of love. We are all doing the best we can to navigate this liminal space. There is so much beauty and magic waiting for us, even in the most ordinary-seeming days. Whatever this is, whatever will be - we got this. As long as we have love - everything else has an amazing way of just falling into place. Cheers to this gorgeous couple who married last week in the Shuswap!! Thanks to the sun for gracing us! I hear they went for a polar bear swim after!!

We can’t forget the kiss! My promise to you: I will always, always, always step to the side so that your moment is all about YOU. My heart is full Lovebugs. 2020 held so many moments where time just stopped and love was all around us. I know 2021 is going to contain just as much love! Here’s to doing it on your own terms. To choosing the peace of nature. And to following the call of love wherever she leads you. Whatever this year will be: we got this. ... @tiffanychristiansonweddings @brandymaddisonevents

2020 love: when N + T first hired me, none of us had any idea what the year would bring. And despite a wild ride of a year, and some very tough choices, they found a way to begin their marriage that was full of love and all the feels. As we head into another year of unknowns, may we keep our focus on love. And while our ceremonies may still look a little different than we originally envisioned... we still get to celebrate love and have fun! We get to make it about you and your connection, and we have so many creative ways to include loved ones even from afar. Things may be different...but there is sweetness to be found in letting go of what was planned and working within what is. And sometimes what you find is even better than you could ever have imagined. We got this Lovebugs. @ashleygodinphotography @vintage.origami.weddings

Happy 2021 Lovebugs! This has been a year of leaning on our closest people, of celebrating our family connections and of choosing each other. Here’s to the rituals that bring us closer and center your kids at the heart of your ceremony. Seriously loving this blended family Circle of Love and this beautiful family! Thanks @freshphoto for capturing this Kootenays love story @mansioninthemountains

A little winter love for you as we head into the final days of 2020. However your holiday season looks this year, may you feel the love that surrounds us all. May you find ways to connect with your people while still staying safe. May you enjoy the peace of nature and the stillness that winter brings. As Winter Solstice reminds us, the light always follows the darkness. We need both, Lovebugs. It’s part of being human. And while this year has been... ALOT... there is always ...beauty if you are looking for it. Here’s to making it through 2020! Here’s to the future we can’t yet see - but that we are dreaming into being with each choice we make. Also! I’m taking Dec 24 - Jan 4 away from my emails to enjoy some time with loved ones. @menzevisuals @elope_bc @miskahaven @minim_designs

Family Handfasting - one of my favourite ways to blend a family together and keep things fun at the same time. This little girl brought so much playfulness and seeing the connection all three of them share was beautiful to witness. Love love love moments like these and couples who aren’t afraid of the rain! Also @trinacaryphotography

Juuust over here living my best life. So grateful to my couples for the adventures, the laughter and most of all how relaxed we get to be with these intimate elopements. It’s been a weird year Lovebugs but love keeps going. And so do blundstones ! @joshuajerridphotography

Sue Cairnie Ceremonies 11.11.2020

When @koabri asked me if I do Family Ceremonies- my answer was 100% yes! Before her elopement, this beautiful mama called a special ceremony to mark this big step in her kids lives, and their official joining as a family. This ceremony was personalized to their families needs, and included the grooms Indigenuous heritage, as well as a family Handfasting and the most touching vows from the groom to the kids. A few close relatives joined us, and @trinacaryphotography made pure... magic on this windy day. I love love love involving your kids in blended family ceremonies - it truly does make it that much more fun for all of us, and it shows your kids that this day is about them too. Feeling so grateful to hold space for the big moments in your lives. And if you are ever wondering, could we do a ceremony a honor THIS? The answer Lovebugs is pretty much always yes!

Sue Cairnie Ceremonies 03.11.2020

It’s okay if you’re not okay right now. If you find your emotions wildly all over the place. If you are having a hard time letting go of what you envisioned and coming to terms with what is. We are facing a winter, a holiday season that will look very different from what we are used to. And the fear, the disappointment, the pain of coming to terms with this is real and valid and it’s worth feeling. On the one hand, I know what nourishes me, what helps me move through hard t...ransitions. I bet you know what you need too. Whether it’s going for a run or journaling or spending time with the trees. Will we do it? Will we seek out the rhythms that bring balance to our days, that calm our racing minds? Honestly Lovebugs? We will some of the time. And other times we will forget, resist, lean on our vices instead. And ultimately, it’s all okay. There’s no right way to do what we have never done before. They key is just to take it one step at a time. To keep choosing what brings you home, what centers you, even if it’s not very day, even if you choose the opposite more often than not. This is about the journey, Lovebugs. Its about loving yourself, and your people, enough to be gentle. Enough to accept where we are now. Enough to know that it is all constantly, miraculously changing. And that’s enough for today. If you got this far, comment with one word + emoji something that you do to nourish yourself. Handfasting ceremony! 3 cords representing their connection of body, mind and spirit. I loved so many things about this ceremony - first of all it was under a tree!! In one of the brides family home, with just their closest relatives. The cords were tied by one of the brides sisters, and get this she actually introduced them in the first place! The brides also planted a Rose right in the ceremony spot, a sweet twist on the Tree Planting Ritual! But honestly my favourite par...t was seeing how these two looked at each other, and feeling SO MUCH LOVE! These two beauties know exactly how lucky they are and it was such a blessing to hold space for their love. @yanacranephoto

The moon has been awoken with the sleep of the sun. The light has been broken, the spell has begun. Happy Halloween witches! On the road to Kaslo this morning for my HalloweenFull Moon Blue Moon elopement and I am excited! This couple booked me a year ago for their Wiccan, earth-loving Handfasting ceremony, with a Ring Blessing and Family Circle of Love with their 4 kids. ... Can’t wait to make some magic on this powerful night and usher them into the next step of their journey together

As soon as I saw you I knew you would be the adventure of a lifetime. When S+K asked me if I’d travel to @emeraldlakelodge it didn’t take me long to say YES and I was happy to see @drahtweddingphotos was also up for an adventure! Hard to put into words how special this felt: the MAJESTIC color of the lake against the snowy Rockies, the intimate, cozy feeling of their tiny elopement, and the way these two LOOKED at each other! ... Their toddler running around with her flower crown kept us present and giggling, and we got both the warmth of the sun and a few snowflakes falling during their love story. I am so grateful Lovebugs for the adventurous souls of this world and the wonderful places there are to explore.

Juuuust a little Kootenay waterfall love for you today! The sweetest couple. The best dog. These badasses did their entire wedding photos on FILM and I am over the moon with the feeling of the whole experience and of course the results! @thomasnowa

Feeling the love at our Kootenay helicopter elopement this summer! We flew up to this pristine lake and pretty much just had the best time being goofballs and taking in so much beauty. The entire experience was an EPIC adventure, from the flight to the ceremony to exploring the rocks and the views at this enchanted spot. Considering a heli elopement? Yes it is 100% worth it and probably more than you can even imagine! Thanks to @eclipsehelicopters and @joshuajerridphotography for this adventure

We celebrated a life this week. A soul who is no longer with us but whose love is still felt in so many ways. We did this family Handfasting ritual as a way to connect them all to their sibling and to each other. I love that we celebrated in a way that felt very true to this family, with nature as our witness. To me this moment is a reminder of how big our human hearts really are, how they can encompass so much pain and at the same time, still find room for beauty and laughter. Such an honour to craft a custom ceremony for this amazing family and to meet @krista.evans.photography

Happy Fall Equinox Lovers! Today is all about finding balance as we move into fall. I like to think of rituals that mark this time of equal light and darkness, and help us to move into the darker months. Here’s a few easy ritual ideas for today, one for each element: Earth: Go for a walk and pick some fall leaves and flowers to put on your altar/place of honor in your home. This is also a great time to clean your home or altar s[pace, to compost and recycle old flowers/r...eminders of summer and make room for fall energy. Fire: Light a candle, and think of 3 blessings that came to you this summer. Blow it out, and think of three things you are letting go of. Light a new candle to welcome in fall, and thing of three things you are stepping into. Water: Fill a bowl with water, and swirl in some Epsom salts, representing some pain or grief you have been holding on to. Watch them dissolve and as they do, let go of that pain. Pour the water back into the earth she can hold it for you. Fill another bowl with water, and add in some flower petals, symbolizing beauty and hope. Swirl them around and think of where flowers are blooming in your life. Pour them out on the earth too she has room for all of our joy. Air: Go outside when it is dark to see the crescent moon. Feel your bare feet on the earth and the air on your skin. Imagine any pain you are holding traveling down your legs and dissolving into the earth. Turn your face to the stars and breathe deep, trusting in the magic of what is yet to come. @katrinavancampphotography

GRIEF STONE RITUAL: Lately I’ve been answering the call to celebrate the lives of those who were deeply loved, and who no longer walk among us. I’ve been feeling the pain of those whose lives have been irrevocably changed in an instant, and have had to make sense of the pieces that remain. Whether it is a loved one who crossed over too soon, or the grief and uncertainty of this year and how it has changed us, we all need somewhere to put our grief. The place I return to ove...r and over when I need to make sense of pain, is the sanctuary of the earth. . The Grief Stone Ritual is very simple: When you are feeling pain in your heart, you go for a walk and you find a stone, to carry with you, for a few hours or days or even longer. You walk through life with your stone, and you hold on tight whenever you are feeling pain that feels too big to hold. You pour your disappointment and sorrow into that stone. I don’t believe that closure is actually a thing, where all of a sudden you wake up healed with all your pain behind you. From what I see, grief comes in waves, and all we can do is hold on when it comes, and trust that it will pass, that we will see beauty again, as long as we let ourselves feel those feelings. . And when the day comes to let that stone go, I want you to go find the biggest, deepest body of water you can find, and I want you to walk up to it like the boss that you are, like someone who loves herself, like someone who continues to seek the joy in this life no matter how much pain she has experienced. And I want you throw that stone in the water with all you’ve got, and with it throw your pain, your confusion your doubt your loss. Trusting that mama earth has the depth to hold all of our sorrows, and to transform it into new growth. Trusting that by giving you pain back to the earth, you are not passing it on, you are composting it and making new life. @joshuajerridphotography

Wow! This queer elopement in the woods was full of so much love - I mean just LOOK at the grooms’ faces! . We did so much fun stuff! We began with a secwepemc prayer by one of the groom’s brother, and a hands-free ring warming. A friend read a poem, these two lovers said the most beautiful personal vows ever, and I tried not to cry. And best of all the ceremony started and ended with dancing! . That’s not quite true. Best, BEST of all was celebrating how HAPPY these two ...are that they get to share love as their true authentic selves with each other. E+B had planned a huge celebration with friends + family...but life had other plans for them. They decided to make the best of this wild ride of a year by eloping and doing a big party in the future. . COMING HOME : Big news Lovebugs, my plants and I have relocated to Chase BC! While it’s only an hour from Vernon, it’s still felt like a big change during an uncertain time. Like a lot of folks, when the pandemic started, I got my priorities in line veerrry quickly. And I realized that living in Chase with my sisters and old friends and lots of nature right outside my front door was exactly what I needed. Every new year I choose a word of intention, and this year I chose ...two: Coming Home. Back in January when I wrote them out, I was thinking about coming home to myself, to my spiritual practice, to nature...I certainly didn’t expect to be moving a few months later! But it’s very true that this place and these people feel like home. So thanks Universe for taking me on a bit of a wild ride this spring, shaking all my plans up and landing me exactly where I belong. It’s been an intense time - but it’s also been exciting. There are many more adventures ahead of me - and of all of us! And if this year has taught us anything it’s to let go of the reins and surrender to the journey. So here’s to making big life changes during a pandemic! Here’s to finding the people and places that ground and nourish us. Here’s to trusting in the Universe and letting go. Here’s to coming home Lovebugs however that looks for you! Oh and don’t worry I am still serving the Okanagan! For those who are already booked in, nothing will change. And for those yet to come - as long as there is love I will be celebrating it in Kamloops and Salmon Arm, in Vernon and Kelowna and all those areas in between. In the Kootneys and on Vancouver Island. In the woods and in the lake and hey even in a helicopter this year. Where love beckons I will follow. #weddingcelebrant #moving #lifecyclecelebrant #cominghome #lettinggo #grateful #wildride #trust #trusttheprocess #changes #chasebc #chaseofficiant #kamloopsweddings #kamloopsofficiant #salmonarmweddings #bcweddings #salmonarmofficiant #shuswapweddings #okanaganweddings #hometown #frontporch #plantsarelife #plantfamily #plantlife #plantlover #plantbabies #homecoming #arrival #happy #herewego

The Handfasting ritual - one of my faves and one that we are adapting this year to make it safe for all! Rituals do more than make for awesome photos, they have the power to connect us on a deeper level. That’s why I’m adapting some favourites like the Ring Warming Ritual to be touch-free. And I’m adding in some ritual ideas that your loved ones can do to be a part of your day, whether they are near or far. See my stories for a few ideas to help us all stay connected with lov...ed ones in these strange times. . Now more than ever we need our people. Weddings will look different this year but the love + connection will be that much stronger as we will not take it for granted! . And for those who are waiting a year or two - imagine how much more excited we will be to celebrate you after making it thru this strange time! . All ways are good Lovebugs whether you are eloping this summer or waiting to have that wedding of your dreams. You can’t choose wrong here and hey in some cases folks are choosing both ;) . @okanaganweddingphotographer . See more

Here's to celebrating love in wild + wonderful ways with adventurous souls. 2020 isn't cancelled it's just...different than any of us expected. We got this. <3

Sue Cairnie Ceremonies 02.04.2020

Hard to know where to begin lovebugs. It’s been an intense week filled with grief, justifiable anger, and for many white folks including myself, a wake up call to acknowledge our privilege and stand up as allies with the Black community. And it’s been a humbling process. To recognize the white privilege in my own life and experience, and to realize that something as simple as the melatonin in my skin has given me so opportunity at the expense of others. . In the words of Nels...on Mandela, To be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others. I want to do THAT, lovebugs, and sharing my beliefs on here is a start. . . Ways I am committing to respecting + enhancing the freedom of others in my ceremonies this year: . Territory Acknowledgements in my ceremonies to honor the Indigenous land . Scrupulously examining the rituals and traditions I use in my ceremonies to avoid cultural appropriation . Using more quotes and poems by people of color . Sharing wisdom and inspiration related to ceremonies from people of color on social media. Setting up a Scholarship Fund to enable more folks to access my ceremonies who would not be able to afford them (more on this to come) . My goal has always been for my business to be a safe place for all people: all cultures, all races, all gender expressions and sexual orientations, all abilities, all religions, spiritualities, beliefs and forms of love, including ethical polyamory. I get that my intentions are good, but I also get that I have and will make mistakes in my ceremonies, in my inclusivity and in my sensitivity. I will continue to learn and grow as an ally. I will accept feedback and if I make a mistake I will apologize and do better. I am grateful to the Black community for calling us to action. I commit to being a better ally to people of color in my community, in particular the Indigenous folks whose unceded land we all enjoy. I commit to doing better. Are you with me? Selina Kozub

Tree Planting Ritual! . This couple started their marriage by planting an oak tree! They filled test tubes with soul from each of their children’s homes, and everyone got to add their soil to the pot. This tree will then be planted in their yard, and will grow alongside their marriage! Just like their relationship it will grown strong roots, and beautiful branches reaching for the sun! . I LOVE hands on rituals that involve the whole family and serve as a reminder of your... special day! . Would you do a tree planting ritual? Happy Earth Day Folks! Today was supposed to be the 2nd annual @kelowna4love - a free wedding event for lucky couples with donations raised for mama earth. It’s no surprise that K4Love has been cancelled, like a lot of things these days. And while it’s sad and disappointing to let go of how we thought our spring and summer would be - I know that next years celebrations will be that much sweeter because of this time. . So hug a loved one today if you can, hug a tree, and kno...w that where we are now is temporary. If Mother Nature shows is anything it’s that the earth around us is constantly changing, living, growing, dying and being reborn. This spring, may you let go of what is no longer possible, trusting in the new shoots of growth that inevitably follow. We got this Lovebugs. . I love how we are all adjusting and coming up with new ways to celebrate love, and ...how gracious everyone is being during this uncertain time, as we do what needs to be done. . At a time when it’s easy to turn to fear, my people are choosing love. My clients and colleagues in the wedding industry are being as generous and as flexible as we can. We are getting through this TOGETHER. And there is nowhere else I’d rather be than holding space as we navigate these new times. In many ways, we are waiting, ready to re-adjust if need be, trusting in each other, knowing that things may look different than we imagined, but we will get through this together. . @imagesbyselina . #grateful See more

Hi Lovebugs. I’ve been a little quieter lately on here. A little less able to easily share snippets of my days. With COVID-19, life has felt uncertain. I’ve been feeling a lot of feelings that are frankly, really uncomfortable. And what has been so hard has been the isolation - at a time when we heed OUR PEOPLE more than ever. And not just our little family that we live with. But our COMMUNITY. Our friends and acquaintances, the businesses we frequent, our friends and relativ...es scattered across this earth. Sharing this photo today is bittersweet, because big group hugs like this aren’t possible right now. But I am sharing because it reminds me of the pure love that comes from involving your family in your wedding ceremony, in this case in a ring blessing for the new brides. It reminds me of how interconnected we are, of how we need each other, old and young. And while weddings may look a little different this season, I find it so beautiful the ways that we are all doing our part to make sure we get through this as a community. I love that we have video options for those who can’t make it. I love that this summer means more small elopements in nature, more weddings stripped down to what truly matters: you and your love. As much as I wish that we could all be celebrating together, I know that once this passes, we will emerge stronger. We will emerge as humans, as relatives, as community members as those who made it through by leaning on each other. Love is greater than fear. Every time. And in the words of Mr. Rogers: "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping. There are so many people reaching out and doing good right now, in the wedding industry and the wider world. And as we ride the wave of these uncertain times, I have no doubt that we are deeply loved and held by something that is greater than ourselves. Call it Source or the Universe, call it community or the power of love: just know that you are held and loved during these challenging times. Share a heart if you are with me! @joshuajerridphotography

Happy Love day, folks. This photo makes me happy because the tree reminds me of how I think about love. It’s a big energy that holds us and shelters us. One that is greater than we are, and always there, even when we can’t quite see it, or realize its grandeur or its reach. . I post a lot of photos of couples at the apex of their relationship. But today feels like a good time for a reminder: that wherever you are in your relationship, love is surrounding you. Whether you ar...e in the spring of new love, the summer of joyful celebration, the fall of deep soul work or the winter of letting go. Whether you are facing an ending, or coming to terms with forgiveness. Whether you are working through hard things, or luxuriating in a place that just feels easy: love is there holding you. . I want you to know that love has many faces. That the beauty and the pain of this existence is getting to experience love in all its forms, in it’s most exalted, and most heartbreaking. Today, on this mass commercial holiday that forces you to think about your relationships to others, I hope you also get a little sweet quiet stillness to check in on your relationship to yourself. To ask your heart what it needs. And to trust in the power of love, which is far greater than we mortals can understand, and which moves in mysterious ways. And above all, lovebugs, may you just go easy on yourself today. May you see the love that is all around you. May you know you are deeply, unequivocally, irrevocably loved, just for existing, You. Are. Loved. fourthwest photography #youareloved #love #vday #happyvalentines #valentinedaythoughts #feelthelove #youarelove #lifecyclecelebrant #weddingcelebrant #celebrant #marriageofficiant #cycleoflife #itsajourney #loveiseverywhere #youaresoloved #valentinesday #kelownawedding #bcwedding #treewedding #deeplove

What is meant for you will always come to you. Whether that’s a person. Or you know, the person ;) Whether it’s the right marriage celebrant for your sacred ceremony or the perfect place to say your vows. . The Universe is always speaking to us, using different ways for each person. ... The people you interact with have messages for you. So do the books and posts that catch your eye. The animals that pop into your daily life. . When in doubt. When in fear. When in confusion, love bugs: Find Your True North. Focus on how you want to feel. Visualize a day in your future that feels good in your bones. Turn your face in that direction like it’s the sun on a cold rainy day: and no matter what, keep walking towards your sun. . And all around you the world will be swirling with other ppl’s fears and doubts and priorities. And your task is to do your work, however simple or complex that with may be. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, keep holding your vision. Keep making choices that feel right for your truth. Let all the energy and judgements swirling around you die away. Keep walking to your true north. . And one day. Some moons from now, maybe many. You will wake up in your life and look around and realize: this is what I was journeying towards. I’m here - and yet the journey continues. And yes it’s about the destination but really, the destination IS the path. Because the path keeps going long after the vision is reached. And you could not know the FULL vision from where you are right now - it’s too big and too beautiful for you to fully understand today. It will keep expanding, the further you walk. So love bugs, point your feet forward. You got this. More than you realize: In fact, if it is truly right for you : it’s got you. . One of my favourite moments! But also one that can be a little awkward in the moment if you haven’t figured out who hugs who when and where exactly! After doing 250+ weddings, it’s the little details like this that I keep a careful eye on so your whole ceremony experience feels fluid and natural. . Whether we’ve practiced in rehearsal or are winging it, I am there to gently guide you so that you are never left wondering where to stand or when to say something! . My vibe is ...fun, relaxed and full of love, and my job is to create a sacred container to hold you during one of the biggest - and most vulnerable - moments of your lives. . It’s an honour and a responsibility I don’t take lightly! So grateful for the couples who have trusted me fir such an important moment - and so excited for all the ceremonies coming up this year! Lovebugs! I’m going offline Dec.21 Dec.27. It’s been a busy week with lots of last minute inquires and elopements, and I am so excited about the new couples coming on board. I will have my phone on me if you have urgent questions, but I’m taking a break from social media + email. And I could not be more excited. To sloooow down. To snuggle my person and talk for hours with my sisters and run around in the snow. Truth: it’s scary taking ANY time off when you are self-empl...oyed. But, in this busy time of year, I take a few deep breaths. I remind myself that I create my reality. And I am giving myself the gift of being OFF this holiday season, and being ON for what nourishes me. And however you spend your holiday, I hope you make time to nourish yourself in big and small ways. To come home to yourself, and to what is truly important in your life. I hope you make time for stillness. I’ll see you on the other side. Big hugs. Happy Holidays. One of my favourite things to do in ceremony is to NOT stand right in between you. This gives you more of an intimate moment with your person, and allows your guests to hear me without me speaking right in your ear! It also means you get more photos of just you + your connection! . One of my main goals is to keep your ceremony NOT BORING - that’s why we do lots of fun rituals like #handfasting and #ringblessing. . Another main goal is to make you both feel comfortable + rela...xed - and having you stand together goes a long way to making this happen. . Yes my smile is giant because the groom is nailing his vows! A + C wrote such beautiful vows expressing their love for each other and their ceremony was FULL of details from their very romantic love story. This couple is GOALS and it was an absolute honor to celebrate their love! . Also. Notice how I'm off to the side? Depending on our mic situation I do my best to give you a moment where its just you two and your connection. But don't worry, I never go far. When we first began our search for an officiant, we were a little worried we may have a hard time finding an LGBTQ2+ friendly officiant. Luckily for us, our search didn’t last long! Sue came highly recommended to us through a mutual friend. After reaching out, she immediately got back to us and continued to uphold the same level of communication, patience, understanding, knowledge and warmth throughout our entire process. Wedding planning can feel extremely overwhelming and ...tedious at times, but we never once felt any anxiety surrounding our ceremony. . Sue was flexible in scheduling multiple meetings with us, and always made us feel heard and at ease. She created a one of a kind, unique to us ceremony that felt authentic, joyful and FULL of love. We were unaware of all of the different things that could be incorporated, but Sue was patient in explaining all of our options, and incorporated every detail we mentioned. We could not have asked for a more wonderful, loving person to marry us! . She made us feel grounded and safe during our ceremony, and really helped us to be in the moment and mindful of our surroundings (which can be hard when you’re nervous and in front of a lot of people). All of our guests feedback was the same: They had never been to a ceremony like that before, and it was truly the most beautiful and unique one they’d ever witnessed. So thank you Sue, for setting the energy at our wedding at such a high vibration. You brought more than just my wife and I together that day; you included every person in our moment, and the gratitude was felt throughout the entire night. Ps. One of the best things about her is her laugh. It’s infectious . Thank you so much D + M for your kind words! I'm feeling inspired by @wildsageevents post yesterday to give back to my community of badass enterpreneurs. In the spirit of supporting local this holiday season, I would love to write reviews for any vendors I've worked with, and any small business friends. Comment below with the best place to leave you a review! . .As Renee put it, sharing a business' post is temporary, but writing a review lasts forever and can make a HUGE difference to a small business. I know it does ...for me! And while I can't buy products or services from all of the amazing businesses I know, this is one way I can give back this year. . Also. Involving your guests in the ceremony is HUGE for me! And it leads to moments like these - where your people become active witnesses to your love story, not just passive observers. I invite guests to cheer and clap as they feel moved, and I often start things off by asking, "Who is excited to be here?!" and let's just say we got a good response! . You deserve a ceremony that is sacred + meaningful - but also FUN! Joyful, playful, relaxed and full of love. Instead of waiti...ng for it to be over, your guests could be leaning forward in their seats, excited to hear your love story or join in on a group ritual like a Ring Blessing. And you and your partner could be up there saying your vows and living your best lives just like these two gorgeous ones! . So much love and gratitude for this ceremony that filled my cup and my heart! . @koyophotography See more

Happy Fall Lovebugs! This elopement made my heart so happy. I am in love with their traditional native wedding outfits, handmade by the bride - and she made outfits for their kids too! This personalized ceremony was all about their love story and family, and their little ones were in and out, picking berries with their aunts and enjoying the sunshine. It was a beautiful warm day, and even with 5 kids the ceremony felt peaceful. It felt simple and it felt right. It was in their special spot with just a few folks and no I can't tell you where that is! But... Selina Photography knows ;)

The Universe I live in is abundant AF. There is room for me to share my gifts. I find my people easily. I know that not every project, not every opportunity, not every person is right for me. . I follow the connections that feel easy and natural. I let go of that which is not flowing. I trust in divine timing. I know the Universe is nothing if not surprising.
