It's that time of year again! Dec. 1 is #GivingTuesday, a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. It’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities! On GivingTuesday, every dollar we receive will be allocated to helping us build our ...brand new Food Demonstration Garden. This year has been an especially challenging one, and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted a pressing need to address food security in our community. The new garden will address food security head-on by sharing a portion of our harvest with local families in need. Help us make Delta a more sustainable and food secure community! We discovered these poor ladybugs on a leaf floating in a rain barrel. Our farmer rescued them, and we re-homed them to our warm greenhouse. We love to see these beneficial insects on the farm- a ladybug can eat dozens of pesky aphids a day!
Each leaf has its own beauty!
