Here at Eassons we have a very special milestone to celebrate! Jackie Craig has been with Eassons for 40 years WOW! Jackie started with the company on March 1, 1981 and hasn’t looked back. She started in the billing, then moved to payroll and today she is the Fuel Coordinator for the fleet, so she keeps our trucks on the road and ready to roll. All the drivers know that if they need anything while on the road, they can reach out to Jackie and if she doesn’t know the answer,... she will get it for them in a snap. She’s worked with Eassons for 2/3 of her life and she can’t imagine working anywhere else and even though the company has continued to grow, she enjoys how it has remained a family for her. It is easy to say that Jackie has been a part of our success over the years. We greatly appreciate and value all your hard work, contributions and success The recognition of this tremendous milestone looks a little different because of CoVid, but President Paul Easson travelled to Jackie to present her with her service award. A piece of advice from Jackie is to never go looking for something to because you never know where you’re going to end up! Jackie You are an inspiration to others. Eassons would like to send a huge shout out to Professional Driver Mark Wilson on his 15th year work anniversary. Mark is part of our Local pick up and delivery team working out of the Mississauga location. Mark is a driver Coach and always willing to lend a hand to anyone needing help. Trucking around Toronto all day every day is tough but Mark has an amazing safety record and proves you can do it safely and professionally day in and day out. Thank you very much for 15 tough years from all of us at Eassons!!

John Harding is celebrating 20 years with Eassons Transport as a Long-Haul Driver. This is a significant accomplishment and on behalf of everyone at Eassons thank you for your years of service and all that you do!

Eassons would like to send everyone a warm Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. At this time we want to acknowledge the professional drivers whom are staying out over the holidays in order to allow others to have a warm meal at home and time with their families. You all have proven this year, when needed most Transportation Delivers and have made many realize how important you are (though we already knew). Eassons was proud to be able to donate a load of food and food giftcards to Open Arms in Kentville. Open Arms allows those less fortunate in the Kentville area to have a good meal and warm clothes and we were honoured to be able to help.

Eassons is in the middle of our yearly drivers meetings. This year we running them virtually with VP/HR David Skater leading them. Presentations from Joel Neily, Danielle Reece, Kelly Raniere and Geoff Burke are also part. We are new at the virtual meetings but have had amazing success yesterday and todays meeting is going well as well. All employees should have received their links to join!! See you there!!

Today is a great day at Eassons. We are finally able to send our Presidents Club Packages out. These folks are the best of the best and to make this group you need to have at least 10 years accident free with the company though many of the professionals have much more. We sent 34 packs out today and the folks should be receiving within the week. Normally we have a huge celebration but with Covid that's going to have to wait until 2021 so when you see one of the drivers with the one of a kind Jacket Pin, decals or masks, stop and thank them for the dedication to Eassons, Safety and keeping food on the Atlantic Canadian Shelves. Eassons is proud of our long term employees and would like to take a minute today to recognize the 5 year anniversary of Crystal Bent. Crystal works in the Kentville office and is an integral part of the very important Billing department. She is an extremely positive person to be around and always seems to have a smile on her face. Here at Eassons we love it when Company drivers make the leap to Owner-Operators. Professional drivers and husband and wife team Wayne and Joanne have done just that with the purchase of their own Freightliner. They had a few specific details they were looking for and with owning their own rig they have exactly what they want and need to be successful. Lets take a moment and congratulate Wayne and Joanne on an awesome purchase!! Thank you for staying with the Eassons group and we would like to wish you good luck in your new adventure!!

Masks are Mandatory in many of the areas our drivers travel and some are having fun with the new rules. Professional Driver Jamie took this selfie masked up while on lay over in Calgary after delivering. Its just as tough as ever out there and we are proud of professional drivers like Jamie making the best of it!!

Eassons was proud to be able to send some trucks and personnel to Yarmouth and Pubnico today to celebrate the life of Marcel D'Entremont. An Amazing job by the organizers of both the service and truck convoy and we were honoured to be able lead in Marcels truck he received new and put almost every single km on it. A fitting tribute for a man gone way too soon.

With extremely heavy hearts Eassons is sad to pass along the news of the passing of Marcel D'Entremont. Marcel was a exceptional professional driver who often stopped by the new folks and asked if they needed help and was willing to pass along any information to make their jobs easier. You could always count on him to deliver any load safely with pride and a smile. He was extremely well liked by his fellow drivers and in the office. Marcel's passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts here at Eassons. Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.

On this beauty of a sunday morning in Kentville we cant help but think of the drivers out on the roads going into the tough areas during this pandemic to bring much needed food to the people of Atlantic Canada. Today is another great day where we get to celebrate long service awards. After 10 awesome years (though hes been hanging around the offices much longer) we want to say thanks to VP of Finance Brian Easson. There arent many folks that you can count on any time of the day or night more then Brian and whether it's a claim or any problem that needs solved Brian is there seemingly 24/7. Thanks for everything Brian and congrats on 10 years from all of us at Eassons!!

We have a great relationship with Stockford Reefer Services the last 22 years and appreciate the attention to detail and level of service anytime we need on the road help with our reefer trailers. Thanks for the great years and heres to many more!!

Today is a great day to shout out to Rodney Easson on 5 great years working with the Sales Department out of our Kentville Office. Rodney is always working hard with our Corporate clients to provide the best experience possible and has been doing an incredible job!!
