Hello EAS Students! For those of you who don’t know, my name is Stephanie and I am a member of EASSU and today I’d like to get your opinions on something. Given the recent changes, and the escalating situation surrounding COVID-19, EASSU has recognized that there may be panic, extra stress, and so on. We also recognize that because some residences are encouraging isolation (with some residences going as far as asking students to move out), and that there are even more restric...tions on travel, there might be more mental stress or you just might feel alone. So, EASSU has recently came up with the idea of setting up a EAS Discord for you all to use. In this Discord channel, we plan to remind you if there are lectures because we do recognize that it may be difficult to keep up on lectures with all the ambiguity that’s going around. We also plan to help you guys facilitate group study sessions if that is something that you would like to do. Lastly, we just want you guys to have an extra support system in case you are unable to reach any of UofT services for help or if you’re unable to each an EASSU member.
