East and Back: Canada on Foot

I've been having trouble actually sitting down and transcribing my written journal and I've been meaning to get that out for you guys to read. So every day, I'll post a day of my trip in linear fashion. And i'll edit a word document that I'll upload, which will fill with each successive entry. In a couple months the whole thing should be up to read that way.

Always useful to know the correct knots and lashings for each job. Some can join two lengths (reef knot), others can give you a firm grip on an object, that gets tighter when you pull on it (clove hitch), just a couple of the common ones.

It feels great to be getting out again since I broke my leg. The good weather is nice, too. A little heads up, a video will be up soon thanks to Severen Crawley for interviewing me and compiling some of my media into a watchable format. So we will be able to see some of that soon!
