Income tax time is upon us. Remember to make sure you have all your receipts gathered. Medical, dental, eye glasses, fitness/sports and child care receipts are just a few.

Just a reminder that this is the last weekend to finish up your income tax. You have until the post office closes on Monday night to get them in the mail. To avoid a delay in your Child Tax, UCCB or GST credit cheques get your taxes completed..

Only 6 days left to get your personal income tax filed..For business owners remember you dont have to rush b/c you have until June 15.

1st tax tip: Do you have rental property? If you do, remember what expenses can be claimed on your income tax: mortgage interest (but not principal), property taxes, utility costs, house insurance, maintenance costs, advertising, and property management fees
