Just how "un-noticed" is homelessness in Aylmer? What is anyone doing about the 2020-2021 Operational Season ahead?

East Elgin Housing Initiative Emergency Shelter 02.09.2020

The myth that homelessness only pertains to single men and women persists. This was driven home for me, Paul Cowley, Monday, May 25, 2020 when I encountered a father & son walking the streets of Aylmer, Ontario. We chatted and the two informed me they were currently living in "unacceptable conditions". The 2015 Canadian study cited below indicates otherwise and now I have personal verification. This family with the capability of paying for a place can't find acceptable housing in Aylmer. How can this be!
