Developing a crag in the East Kootenay region and looking for advice/feedback from the community on the following dilemma: - Climb is approx 29m long - First ha...lf is pretty fun crack and chimney 5.9. Second half is really fun sustained, gently overhanging mid 5.11. - First half is well protected with gear. Second half is not. - There is currently one mixed route at the crag (5.9/10a 30m, 3 bolts to a fairly splitter crack). Probably won’t be more than MAYBE one other mixed route at the crag. - Approach to crag is a steep 25-30min rough hike The question: would people bring gear so they can climb the awesome 5.11? I know the EK region does have some mixed lines...so just want to do the right thing. But also want ppl to climb the route!
