This kid .... even if he wasn’t our sweet son we would be SO proud! He is a natural born fisherman, loves the boat and slaying fish! Tonight he caught the biggest fish, even bigger than his dad’s to say he was excited would be an understatement!! He can’t wait to get this big guy on the smoker haha! We enjoyed a nice little break in charters and went for a gorgeous family boat ride! Our daughters first trip and she loved it! She was quite content to drive us around and our older boys were just relaxing & taking it all in. It was lovely to spend some time together , I admit we don’t typically get much in the summer months so this has been very bittersweet! I am typically booked 2 years in advance for almost all of August , as the fishing is incredible ... but thanks to a certain virus I actually have openings for locals! This is a BIG deal! What a beauty day to celebrate the opening of our salmon fishing This little guy was SO pumped to keep his catch and can’t wait to get it on the smoker The fish are here and we can officially keep 1 Chinook catch per guest/per day I have a few days open in July & August if your wanting to get out and slay some fish and make some memories! JULY 15th is OPENING day for the salmon fishing and we couldn’t be more excited! As of July 15th each guest can keep 1 Chinook (80cm or less) Your fish will be cleaned by your guide and ready for the BBQ or Freezer. We can still catch and release as well as slay some lingcod and rock fish too.... My Buddy Laurel from Absolute Sportfishing and I took my son out for a day to catch some prawns. We pulled up some good hauls and even got to show my son a super cool little octopus who was in one of the traps! Such a great way to spend some time teaching the younger generation how to appreciate the sea! My little guy did awesome pulling up the traps and had a blast talking all things fishing with us! So thankful for these moments and to live and work where I do While spor...t fishing is our industry , I’m happy to take families out for a day like this.
