Excellent little tip found online! I love this, because it is organized and useful. It would be handy in the holiday RV/camper too! AND..You can purchase magnetic strip at the dollar store, so it is a low budget DIY. Reference 'Today's Parent Magazine'. A great magazine with many useful tips

Back from vacation in Nova Scotia. Hopefully with getting back into routine, our tip post will become more frequent! Remember if you have a "how to" question pertaining to cleaning or home maintenance please ask us by private message or on the wall. We would love to assist with an idea you may not have yet tried and it also gives us ideas for Tip Topics. Please help to support our small business by liking our page and sharing our post! Us, East Coast Gals, wouldn't be wo...rking at something we love to do, if not for all of our supporters and references (near and far)! Tonight we leave a link as a Tip. This is a basic tip for those who have blocked faucets or shower heads. It may not be as hard to fix the issue, as one might think and you don't always have to use CLR or harsh chemicals. We generally do this during a first in clean, of a routine clients home. Hope some viewers may find this useful https://www.thesnug.com/how-to-clear-a-showerhead-or-faucet

How many homes have been taken over this season? Taken over by fruit flies? Fruit flies are the visitors that are not welcomed! They are unpleasant and can multiply to the point that you wonder, "who owns the home?". Their are many traps you can try, and they will catch the flies, but I find they attract them too. Putting out a dish (I like a long neck bottle best) with a little cider vinegar, 2 or 3 drops of dish soap and covered with plastic wrap will help but won't so...lve the problems. Our pest are persistent and will return, if you don't do a good cleaning. One item can bring them in, but it's all the other flavours and smells that will keep them strolling in and breeding. DIY Fruit Fly Trap: - bottle/small dish -1/4cup cider vinegar -2 or 3 drops of dish soap - plastic wrap - rubber band -tooth pick Pour the vinegar and dish soap into the bottle. Cover the top with plastic wrap and hold in place with rubber band. Poke few holes in the wrap with toothpick. The flies can't resist the vinegar and adding the dish soap will cut the vinegar allowing the flies to drown. When clean the trap DO NOT pour down sink. You will only attract more. Flush the mixture and clean well. I am sharing a link that has (in my opinion) the best ways to rid and control fruit flies. The list includes what we do in our homes. **Please share and THANK YOU for following!** Happy Long Weekend Everyone from East Coast Gals! http://insects.about.com//10-Tips-For-Getting-Rid-Of-Fruit

Today's Tip: We have received a question in from a follower! (Question in photo) In this past year we have removed border from a clients wall. The border was many years old and stuck well. To remove the border we made a mixture of liquid fabric softener an water. We soaked the paper (using a spray bottle) with our mixed solution and as it was wet, peeled and rubbed to remove the paper. We also used a plastic scraper for those very hard to remove spots. We then washed the... wall to leave it streak free and rid of particles. This worked excellent and would recommend trying it! Easy and cost friendly. Now, for hard glue, we have not yet had to take this challenge. The fabric softener solution could work but being unsure I looked to my great teacher - Google! Lol I read a post about removing hard glue by using steam from an iron. Heat the iron until hot. Hold the iron up to the wall ( do not touch the wall/glue) and steam the glue by iron. Or maybe a clothes steamer could possibly work. Steam the glue for several seconds and then rub in circle motion with a damp cloth. My dear friend Google had also referred a page about construction glue. Construction glue is like a super glue. One I personally hate! It's mean, messy and not attractive at all! I will share the link and hopefully one of the tips could be of use. http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-remove-construction-/ I'd like to thank our follower for the first question and welcome anyone to comment their ideas or share a used solution to this question. If anyone else has a question pertaining to cleaning, please feel free to message us, East Coast Gals, and we will be honoured to try and help! Thank you to all of of clients, followers, family and friends! It's because of all of you, we get to make a living doing what we love!
