Covid-19 Update - Great News!!! We received permission to treat patients again at our clinic. We are looking forward to seeing you all again . We are taking all precautionary measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff members based on the recommendations from the New Brunswick Dental Society. This will take a bit of time but if everything goes according to plan, we will be able to see patients as of May 13th. Here are the modifications brought at the clin...ic in order to serve our patients: Patients that present themselves for an appointment will be asked to wait in the parking lot, call our office number at their arrival and wait instructions before entering. This measure is to minimize the number of patients in clinic at the same time. Mask will be mandatory for patients and staff until told otherwise. We ask patients to present themselves alone (with exceptions) We ask patients to leave any unnecessary items in their vehicles (drink, food, books, tablets, etc) Once in clinic, patients will be asked to wash their hands with an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Once this is done, a staff member will take the temperature of the patients. Please follow instructions from staff members afterwards. Our waiting room has been reorganized to follow the social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout our clinic. After each use, all the equipment, surfaces, tools and furniture will be disinfected. A triage system has been put in place. This system filters patients with potential Covid-19 symptoms and if so we will not be seeing them at the clinic. To reduce the time spent in clinic, several tasks and services will be done over the phone. Patients whose appointments were cancelled over the last two months, will receive a phone call within the coming 2 weeks to reschedule appointments. Once these patients have been scheduled, we will resume calling new patients to book. We appreciate your patience and comprehension during these times. Your health and safety is our priority. We want to assure you that we are keeping an eye out for the latest information on Covid-19 and respecting the latest guidelines from our governing bodies. To our patient family and new patients: Due to the recent outbreak of the COVID - 19 virus and based on the recommendations of local health authorities, we have decided effective immediately, that we will be cancelling all elective dental procedures till March 27th (subject to change). We will however continue providing Emergency Dental services to all patients. ... For each patient arriving at East Coast Oral Surgery, we will be asking the following: 1. Did you travel or were you consciously in direct contact (less than two meters) with someone who has traveled outside of Canada in the past 14 days? 2. East Coast Dental Group and all of our partners have long been committed to representing a gold standard when it comes to infection prevention & control within our offices. Here he is featured with the President of the New-Brunswick Dental society: Dr. Suzanne Drapeau-Mcnally receiving his award! Well done Dr. Daniel! Well deserved!

This past Friday, Dr. Al-Khatib and his assistant Darlene represented East Coast Oral Surgery at the Bouctouche Free Dental Day. They both generously volunteered their time as the clinic saw a total of 47 patients throughout the day :) This great day provided over 17 000$ in Free Dental services to those in need in the community! Congratulations to Bouctouche Dental Clinic on a very well-organized event!

The staff at ECOS had a wonderful time visiting the wineries in Wolfville this past weekend! We visited both Luckett Vineyards and Lightfoot & Wolfville and both venues were terrific!

Great cause! East Coast Oral Surgery will be helping out for this event as Dr. Al-Khatib will be providing services! Please share!
