We are THRILLED to announce that Cape Breton fiddler, Joe MacMaster will be gracing our stage this Saturday! Deemed the newest powerhouse of Route 19 by Ashley MacIsaac, Joe MacMaster picked up the fiddle in 2014 and never looked back. Since then he has played countless dances, ceilidhs, concerts, and other events in and around Cape Breton island. He has performed across Canada, in the Edmonton Folk Festival, for events in Ontario, and regularly visits PEI to p...erform. He has toured throughout the United State alongside his aunt Natalie MacMaster, and has made his mark across the Atlantic performing in Denmark. Recently, he won the open division of the first online Covid Fiddle Championship, his first fiddle competition. With an arsenal of bagpipes, fiddle, and piano, he is in high demand. Joe credits his greatest musical influences as his late granduncle Buddy MacMaster, has aunt Natalie MacMaster, Kenneth MacKenzie, and Mac Morin. His musical sound is distinctly that of his home Cape Breton Island, drawing from the repertoire and style of the rich Gaelic music tradition there. Aside from his music, Joe is a biology major at St. Francis Xavier University, and will complete a Bachelor of Science degree in 2021. This is a rain-or-shine event! REMINDER Tomorrow's show from 6PM-8PM is FULLY reserved. We cannot accept more reservations at this time, and due to government capacity restrictions, will have to turn away those who have not reserved a table. ... If you are unable to make it, or haven't made a reservation for tomorrow, don't worry! We have more shows planned for future weekends! It is important that we all follow the rules, so we can continue to host events!

In the interest of group safety & social distancing, we are not accepting any more reservations for our 'own seating' area! Known for their songwriting chops and musicianship, the group is a must-see! Does it get any better than this? YES! This concert will be absolutely FREE to the public! There's just one catch- in order to comply with social distancing regulations, groups of up to 8 must reserve picnic tables in advance to ensure we stay within capacity.
