Christmas trees are back at 310 Danforth and a portion of their proceeds support the Out of the Cold program at Eastminster.

The Out of the Cold at Eastminster Program launched last Friday, November 6. Working under canopies in front of the Danforth doors, an enthusiastic team of highly visible volunteers (wearing masks, face-shields,and reflective vests) handed out 'Basics' kits (socks, underwear, tooth paste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap), PPE kits (masks, hand sanitizer, tissues), hot coffee, cookies, hot chili & bun and robust lunch kits. We are delivering all leftover sandwiches to Mustard Seed for their food outreach program and will be freezing leftover chili in individual portions to be distributed through the Glen Rhodes Food Bank. Please help spread the word to anyone you know could benefit from this outreach on Fridays from 5:00-7:00pm.
