2016 Easter 5 K Run and Family Walk Countdown Just under a week to go and we hope you are as excited as we are about the 2016 Easter 5 K Run and Family Walk! The starting gun will go off at 10:30 am on Saturday March 26th ... Packet-Pick Up The Packet Pick-Up is on race day from 8:30 10:00 am Course Map Course map will be sent out to all registered participants on Thursday March 24th A water station will be set up along the course route for participant hydration Clothing Bag Clothing and bags are the responsibility of each runner We recommend you keep your clothes locked and secure in your vehicle Youngs Sportsplex will have changing facilities available When you've crossed the finish line, there will be snacks, bananas and bagels waiting for you! Back on My Feet (BoMF) is organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living. The organization’s mission is not to create runners within the homeless population, but to use running to create self-sufficiency in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. The program’s success is measured by how many Members obtaining independence through employment, job training and housing.
