We delivered our first 2021 Pioneer 520 this week! The redesigned Pioneer 520, previously the Pioneer 500, has some big changes to suit your needs, including a dump box capable of holding 450lbs, new 518cc liquid cooled engine and updated shift mapping. This customer has added some accessories including soft doors, KFI Poly Plow, 3500lbs Kimpex winch, soft rear panel, full tilt windshield and hard roof.

Mayor David Kogon paid a visit to Eastern Powersports Inc. on Oct. 21, 2020, to welcome the new business to the Town of Amherst. The mayor presented owners Greg... and Jeff Brennan with a certificate that not only welcomed Eastern Powersports Inc. to town, but also thanked them for supporting economic development in our community. The brothers, who have had a longtime involvement with Fort Equipment in Fort Lawrence, decided to open a second location when they reached an agreement with Honda to sell their ATVs and side-by-sides. We looked at renovating the building we were in, but we decided to open a second location to basically bring anything small-engine wise to one location, Greg Brennan said, adding, One of our goals was to use one of the vacant buildings in town. They met their goal, opening their new business at 149 South Albion St. on June 9, 2020, in a vacant building that once housed a restaurant. The location’s high visibility and easy access has also benefitted the new business, Greg said. Besides selling Honda ATVs and side-by-side, the business also sells Honda power equipment like snowblowers, water pumps, generators and lawnmowers. In addition, it also sells Cub Cadet lawn and garden equipment. We’re a full sales and service business, Greg said. He thanked the town for welcoming Eastern Powersports to the community. I think it’s fantastic the town is recognizing businesses in the area, Greg said. I’ve seen a lot on social media from the town promoting town, community, local businesses. I think it’s a fantastic the town is promoting businesses and the economy. The presentation was made during Small Business Week, which runs until Oct. 23, 2020. Introducing Steve Terrio, our mechanic extraordinaire! He is very knowledgeable and talented in mechanics, which likely started from his family’s long time interest in the trade. His past work experience includes both small engine and auto. Our summer student had an interest in mechanics and was fortunate to be able to spend time working with Steve. This was a great learning experience, thanks to Steve's willingness share his knowledge in the trade. ... He was quiet when we first met him, but over the past few months, we have learned about his quick wit and humour. He always has a smile on his face and is such a positive influence at Eastern Powersports. We are lucky to have him!
