Looking for a career? The Province has a shortage of EMRs and Paramedics. Our Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) - Ambulance course will prepare you for registration with the Department of Health. Courses now offered across the province so you can learn closer to home. Once registered in our program, you will receive the following at no additional cost: 1. your own blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, pupil gauge and EMS scissors. Tools you need for work in the field.... 2. Respirator Fit Test 3. WHMIS and ICS 100 training course. 4. upon successful completion of our program, you will receive an EMR t-shirt. This course will give you the skills and knowledge to be confident in your EMR career. Once you complete this course and are registered, we will assist you in finding meaningful employment, if required. This course is offered as blended learning throughout the province. To assist the Frontline and First Responders with medical supplies and to ensure they receives a quantity of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Eastern Safety Services has decided to cancel all classes effective immediately to focus on the di...stribution of supplies where it’s needed most. We have a planned start date of April 13, 2020 to resume classes, depending on the situation of COVID-19. If you were registered in a class already, we will reschedule you to the next available class. You can contact us to change the date if it’s not a convenient time for you. We apologize to all our students and clients for the course cancellations, but please know we have been doing our best to accommodate everyone during this difficult time.
