Oh my, another great day out there! And 2 cinnamony choices: Apple-cinnamon Croissants and the very Cinnamon Buns! (Sourdough Blonde & Sourdough Spelt/Rye on the shelf cooling; Seedyside, Ciabatta, white, & Sprouted Spelt loaves in the oven or on the rise; and Spelt Bagels on the table waiting its turn.)

Spring! Spring? Yes, Spring, Nova Scotia's 2nd most colourful season! So, expanded spring hours are the thing here at Swick's Bakery on the 337: Open Wed/Thurs/Fri from 2 to 5h30 and Saturdays from 10 to 12 at the Pin's Bowling parking lot. Loaves & Croissants, Baguettes & Bagels, Oatcakes & Bark, Pies & Tarts. We don't have it all but what we have is made with organic flour and other real ingredients for unreal goodness for you and yours!... Thursdays are Pizza Day at the bakery, with pickup between 4h00 and 5h30. Pre-order by calling or texting me at 902 318-4041.
Best baking weather, when all the variables line up favourably - temp, barometric pressure, humidity... - and the good times shine forth every time i open the oven! Ciabatta, focaccia w herbs right out of the garden, Seedyside, Oatmeal maple molasses... And then there's the NutCrust pies (Raspberry-Chocolate, Grape, & Pear mincemeat.)... Where to begin?

New bakery / market hours! Wednesday @ the Farmers' Market, 2 to 4; Thursday and Friday @ the bakery, 2 to 5h30;... Saturday @ the Farmers' Market, 8h30 to 1pm. Today at the New Barn: the return of the cinnamon buns, fresh bagels & loaves, croissant pizza slices and othe croissants, and plenty of other lovely edibles! And then to the beach!!!
