To our valued patients: We are thrilled to begin welcoming you back to East Point Dental beginning Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Please rest assured that we will be following all the protocols outlined by the New Brunswick Dental Society to ensure your safety and comfort. As you can appreciate, we will be looking after our most urgent cases first. Then we will be moving onto hygiene (check-ups, cleanings etc.) beginning June 1st. You can call us anytime at 506-634-7171 to book a ...routine appointment for June onward and we will also be contacting all patients to re-book any missed appointments in March, April and May. And, as always, if you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us right away. When we connect over the phone, we will need to screen you for COVID-19-related information before your appointment, and again in person when you arrive. When you visit our office, here are the things you'll need to know. You will be required to: - wear a mask as you enter and leave the office (we will provide if you don't have one); - have your temperature taken; and - use hand sanitizer entering and leaving. Unless you are accompanying a child, you will need to come to your appointment alone to reduce the numbers in our waiting room. Again, we will cover all of this with you as we reach out to book your appointment. Thanks so much and look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Hello to all of our patients, Like you, we are so proud of the job New Brunswick has done to help flatten the curve and the sacrifices we have all made. As we move into the ‘Orange’ phase of our province’s recovery, including the reopening of dental offices, we are so happy to prepare to welcome you back.... At this time, we are working with the New Brunswick Dental Society to implement a plan for your return. Our plan will focus on your safety and the safety of our staff as our top priorities. We will have more details to share in the coming days but again we just wanted to say thanks so much for your patience and can’t wait to see your smiles again. - Dr. Tara and the Team at East Point Dental

Dear Patients and Friends, I wanted to reach out to you with an update. As you know, we have closed our office to do our part to keep you, your families and our team safe during this unprecedented time. Our staff have been working hard to reach out to cancel appointments and we will rebook all patients as soon as it's safe to do so. We do want you to know that we miss you and our work very much. The New Brunswick Dental Society has ordered all dental offices closed during the... State of Emergency and have indicated that dentists may only practice in emergencies. This is defined as oral-facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the-counter medications. If you do experience an emergency, please call our office at 506-634-7171. I want to assure you that I am personally checking the phone messages twice daily. If you would like to send me an email please use [email protected] (for emergencies or otherwise) as the smile email isn’t being checked from the office at this time. Again, once we receive word we can re-open the office, our team will work quickly to rebook appointments for you and your family. We plan on extending our hours at that time to ensure everyone receives care in as timely manner as possible. We miss you and your smiles very much. - Dr. Tara and Team P.S. - You have lots of time to focus on your brushing and flossing (kids too!) and I look forward to seeing your progress at your next appointment.
