With the code red restrictions having been extended, the arena has been closed and our program is cancelled until at least December 10. In light of today’s announcement of the Winnipeg Metropolitan Area (including East St Paul) being raised to Red/critical on the pandemic response system, the ESP arena is closing effective at midnight tonight. This means that all skating classes are cancelled on the following days: Sunday, November 1 Thursday, November 5 Sunday, November 8 Thursday, November 12... Sunday, November 15 We plan to issue prorated refunds for any cancelled classes. In the event that the restrictions are extended beyond the currently announced two week period, and to reduce the workload for our volunteers, we are going to hold off processing refunds until we know exactly how many classes we will be refunding. We will provide an update on when classes will be restarting as we hear more info. We are hoping we will all be able to be back at the rink soon! Stay Safe! East St Paul Skating Club

On September 27th we had our Annual STARSkate Banquet and AGM. Thank you to all of our CanSkate Program Assistants featured here for all of your hard work and for helping this program run smoothly. Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

As we get into skating season, we are reminded of when Barbie teamed up with inspirational ice dancer Tessa Virtue! She surprised our young skaters in early March and spent the day reminding them that #YouCanBeAnything with Barbie! Watch more to see what a magical day they all had!

Halloween at the rink is tomorrow and Thursday October 29th. We look forward to seeing you in your costumes!

Congratulations to ESPSC Skaters! Emmet passed his Gold Skating Skills and Gold Artistic tests with honours, and Jade passed her Gold Artistic test with honours! Both have now achieved Quad Gold level! Well done.

Canada's CBC network has announced the names of this year's "Battle of the Blades" contestants. The series opens with a special two-hour premiere on Thu., Oct. ...15 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC and CBC Gem. The Season 6 pairings are: Vanessa James and Akim Aliu Violetta Afanasieva and Anthony Stewart Meghan Agosta and Andrew Poje Jennifer Botterill and Eric Radford Jessica Campbell and Asher Hill Meagan Duhamel and Wojtek Wolski Carlotta Edwards and Kris Versteeg Kaitlyn Weaver and Bryan Bickell Ron MacLean returns as host with a judging panel featuring Scott Moir, Natalie Spooner and Elladj Baldé. Kurt Browning returns to the series as the Elite Battle Expert.
