Okay, so I haven't made much in the way of posts lately, so here goes. If any of my friends, are also friends of Cecil English, then you have probably read abou...t our plans, in the spring, to go across country, and map out the new, (and believe me, they will be new) touring routes, for bands. So many venues will be closing, or have closed already, and the routes bands used to take, and the venues they all used to play in, will be completely different, for the most part. What we would like to do, is find all the surviving venues, in small towns and cities, and make them known to bands, along with all the services offered in the area around the venue. All bands want or need these services, when touring, such as diners, laundromats, pharmacies, thrift stores, gas stations, record stores, L&M. You get the picture. Then we are going to put it in a book. A guide that bands can keep with them, on the road. Hopefully this will be extremely helpful, and will help to connect people! This is going to be a grand adventure for us, and we are really looking forward to it. We even bought a 21ft travel trailer, and a good tow vehicle. "BOOTS ON THE ROAD" Baby! It's going to be awesome! Now one of the things I wanted to ask you out there in FB land, is that any of my friends that aren't from Vancouver, if you live in a town that has some great venues, and you have some info that you could pass along to us, such as some of the things I mentioned above, then that would be amazing! Pm me with all info please. Name the town, the venue, and amenities available, around the venue, and we will use that info. Even contact names and numbers! All this is really important. And it is likely that the venues that do survive, will be small neighbourhood pubs, etc. Any info at all will be much appreciated! We are looking at doing this in the late spring, and any info that we have prior to that time, is a good thing. Gives us a place to start. Hopefully things will have calmed down by then. Anyway, so hit us up, with what you know about your town's music scene! Enquiring minds want to know! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THIS TO YOUR OUT OF TOWN FRIENDS. MUCH APPRECIATED, IF YOU DO! Please, please, please!!!! All my music scene friends do this. It’s not that hard to stick a red light in your window. Or if you happen to be sitting on a ton of lights, turn them all on red and blast them into the night! Don’t wimp out!

The entire last set of yet another 50th Birthday, for Chi, at the SBC! Cecil English, and I are saddened beyond words to hear of Chi's passing, and so honored that we were able to capture this night on video, and edit the whole last set. Working on this was a joy, but also filled with sadness, for what was eventually to come. But Chi, you were right. The Doctors told you that you would likely never see another Birthday, but you proved them wrong! We love you, and wish you the best on your next venture, wherever in the cosmos, that may be.
