You must be aware that that I have been away from the Eastview Animal Hospital for a number of weeks, while Dr Manesh has held the stirrups for me.... this has been as a result of an unexpected medical condition thrust upon me which I have now almost under control. It's a warm evening and I just got back from a long walk feeling quite warm as I stepped into the house. I stepped on my balcony and noticed a little bird hopping clumsily on the ground..... I thought she was hurt..... thought I should go check her out before a cat gets her... just then she took flight and flew equally clumsily along the board fence and just made to the top of the fence. I then noticed a pair of robins..... one hopping on the ground and one sitting on the fence !! I realized these must be the parents watching/ teaching the young one to fly !! Isn't that sweet ?
