Dear Eastview residents, we need your opinions on something! We'll be providing some input to the City's Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan next week. We have some knowledge on our community's priorities from previous consultations and work, BUT we'd also love to hear your input here on any of the following questions (comment or send us a private message or email). Thanks to all of you who will take the time to answer our questions. What makes you feel safe or unsafe in Re...gina or in our neighbourhood? What key safety issues have you encountered in our neighbourhood and in Regina? Which neighbourhoods, areas or places do you really like in Regina? And why? What locations, concern you when it comes to community safety and well-being? And why? (can be neighbourhoods, a park, train tracks, intersections, buildings, services) What ideas do you have and what opportunities do you see to increase well-being and community safety in Regina and in your neighborhood? (These are a LOT of big questions! Feel free to just answer one or two. All input is valuable.) Answers can be added to this post, sent to us via Facebook messenger or by sending us an email to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.

Somethings never change. This article from the Leader Post dated 1920 speaks to the need to CONTINUALLY speak to our kids about railway safety in our area. With the snow and colder weather, kids may be tempted to cross unsafely. Please take a moment to have a conversation about proper rail crossing as well as not playing near or on the tracks. Constable Brad will be back at the center in December for another presentation
