History made today!! Free Play for Kids Inc. took to ice for the first time in our 13 years of existence. Watch out, we’re going to figure this sport out.... Never been on ice, fell down, got up, finished a solo lap, got a few shots on net and kept a massive smile on the whole time!!! Way to go Cabdi!!!

CALL FOR VISUAL ART SUBMISSIONS FOR THE KALEIDO GALLERY AT THE CARROT Submission Deadline: July 31, 2020 Arts on the Ave and Kaleido are pleased to present Kaleido 2020 on Tour: Here Comes the Sun. This year, Kaleido will be a spontaneous, summer-long celebration of music, art, and magic. All physically distant, all coming to you. Not only is it a wonder to behold, all events are free. Our theme is to bring light and joy at a time when many of the activities we love are being... put on pause due to COVID-19. Festivals may never look the same again, but we are re-imagining, inventing, and creating something new. The 2020 Kaleido Gallery exhibition will take place from September 1 - 28, 2020 in The Carrot Gallery at The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse. This salon style exhibition will be hung in the window and on the gallery wall, for all gallery patrons and passersby to enjoy. Eastwood residents: the Residential Infill Working Group is a group of concerned Edmontonians who are advocating for way to reduce damage to neighbouring properties during infill construction. They've been asked by City Council to come up with recommendations for neighbourhoods with infill development, which includes Eastwood.
