This holiday season, East York Tennis Club wants to give back to the community with its very first "Serves Up Warmth clothing drive. We're seeking donations of lightly used WINTER COATS, SNOW SUITS, SCARVES, HATS and GLOVES in all sizes and genders. All donations will support New Circles Community Services (newcircles.ca) and their GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear) initiative. New Circles is a local East York not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that will provide your ...donation directly to community members in need. We will open the tennis club for drop offs and donations at 115 Roosevelt Avenue from 10 AM to 3 PM on these days: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12th SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13th SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19th We hope to see you at the club! Join us this Saturday (July 21) for a free tennis clinic at 4pm followed by a BBQ at 5pm. This is a great way to meet new members! Head Pro John McManus and his team will run informal group clinics on the courts to help you with your forehand and backhand shots. These clinics are for all members and are designed for players of all levels.... At 5pm we will light up the BBQ for a traditional summer meal of hamburgers, hotdogs and salad. Members of all ages are welcome to join us. In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 22nd at the same times.
