One week #postpartum and I’m slowly back at it. . I’m feeling really good so figured might as well try! I didn’t work out for the last two weeks of my pregnancy so even just a bit of exercise today was tiring! It was short lived lol . Its going to take me a while to get back to where I once was but im in no rush - im 5lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight although I have no idea how since I’m constantly eating and constantly hungry (breastfeeding is a killer) . A lot of my strength is gone so I’m excited to regain some that. I just really missed moving and working out. Cheers to new goals . #fitmomsofinstagram @ HotBod Fitness

9 months > 3 days postpartum . Getting pregnant always scared me because I didn’t want my body to change and I didn’t want to give up my body for someone else. Now I realize that all those thoughts were selfish- none of that even matters anymore. I worked super hard during my pregnancy, ate healthy, exercised and it all paid off. I am so happy and proud of my postpartum body! Its definitely not where I was before , my tummy is very squishy and I don’t even know ...where my abs are (due to abdominal separation/diastasis recti) But I have been given the gift of being a mom, having a healthy baby and growing my family. I have now finally realized that all these things are so much more important than the way my body looks! . Although staying active and eating healthy during pregnancy will 100% help with your postpartum body! . And don’t get me wrong, I am sooooo excited to start working out again and reaching new goals with my new body! See more

I’m doing this til the end because it makes me feel good and it’s who I am. Workouts are definitely not what they used to be but I will keep moving and maintain my strength as much as possible. #37weekspregnant and highly anticipating the arrival of our baby girl. She’s full term now and could really come anytime! It still may be a few weeks but either way, we are ready for you when you get here!!!! @ HotBod Fitness

Prego workout: . 15 Kettlebell swings 10 step ups (each leg) 12 squat with upright row 30 second skipping (if you can’t skip then a jog on the spot is great!) Going at a pace that you feel comfortable! .... Almost #37weekspregnant See more

35 weeks pregnant. Home stretch. Still crushing workouts but it’s getting tougher and tougher everyday. I would say my workouts are about 50% of what I was doing pre pregnancy. Extra weight makes it challenging and I’m just tired a lot now. Some days are good, some days are bad. If its a real bad day, I listen to my body and I just don’t work out - if I get through my work day on those days then im doing pretty damn good ... BUT I feel it’s still important to keep ...moving when I can as it makes me feel good, lowers my anxiety, keeps me in shape and releases endorphins.... even it’s a lot slower moving I’ve been eating really healthy (have the odd treat here and there of course) but it’s important for my baby girl to get the proper nutrients and come out with baby abs (haha just kidding about the baby abs part) I’m on weekly check ups at the doc now. So far, I’ve gained 18lbs throughout my pregnancy and my baby is measuring at normal size (not big, not small.... thank god she’s not @drake_siesling size lol) - Head is down and she is low. I can finally breathe a little bit better now that she is lower ... it was bad breathing for a bit! Contractions (Braxton Hicks) have been ongoing which is uncomfortable but I just keep thinking I’m almost there!!!! I can do this!!! . Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend so far and are crushing their goals.... No matter what your goal is! See more
