Eat For Living 24.04.2021

Health Magazine recently asked thousands of their readers what nutrition topic do you need help with RIGHT NOW? The response was almost unanimous Eating For Energy! The majority of readers felt run down and exhausted, and turned to sugar and/or caffeine to bolster flagging energy reserves.... I was a little surprised - honestly, very surprised with that response. I would pegged the winner as Weight Loss. Not so! We are Tired of being Tired! Fatigue is not FUN! It changes how we respond to life! Ponder for a moment...what would you be doing differently if you had more energy? (or as I prefer to call it, more hours in a day). Are you needing more hours in your day? My upcoming webinar can help you with that.

When I first opened my office door, I hadn’t considered holding classes and workshops. I truly enjoyed working with my clients one-on-one and to be honest the thought of presenting in front of a group of people almost paralyzed me. I got over it I started with Clean Eating 101 workshops and added several more over the years. One of my most popular was Fermenting For Health - a fun hands-on class where each person left with their own jar of sauerkraut to take home.... Then that all stopped Now we have the next best thing...online classes and webinars...and I'm am loving being able to present in front of large groups! Eat Well to Live Well is the first in a series of three coming up soon. Tuesday, March 9th @ 6:30 https://www.subscribepage.com/eat-well-to-live-well-2021-we Hope to see you there!

My favourite topic! NUTRITION and it happens to be the one thing that we all have in common - we all NEED food! Good nutrition...eating well...healthy diet. We hear it often but really what does it mean? I've found in my experience as a Holistic Nutritionist working with over 200 clients, the one thing I know for sureit means different things to different people. ... With the array of diets and food options, from Paleo and grain-free to vegan and raw foods, it can be terribly difficult to decide what to eat and what to pass on. It’s easy to get so caught up in not eating this or that, or forcing yourself to eat something that really doesn’t agree with you that you end up dreading the decisions you need to make for your next meal. BUT it doesn't have to be complicated. I've based my whole practice on what I like to call, a refreshing approach to health and nutrition, one that is designed to take the overwhelm out of healthy and to put the fun back into food! Curious? Hop over to the website and have a look...be sure to check out a couple of new Winter recipes that I've added. There's lots more to come as I'm busy building the recipe library for you on my new website #eatforliving #foodassupplements #holisticnutrition #foodasmedicine #mealplans #onepanmeal #recipeideas #mealplanningmadeeasy #mealprepping #holisticnutrition #portmoodyholisticnutritionist #nutritionist #nutritionistapproved #holisticnutritionist #healthcoach #holisticnutritionists #holisticnutritioncoach #nutrition #healthylifestyle #healthyrecipes #eathealthy #healthyrecipe #eatright #healthyhabits #nutrionist #onlinenutrition #fitnutrition #wellness #energyfoods #getinmybelly #goodeats #notodiets #mealinspiration #goodvibesalways

MyGirls. A Cancer diagnosis at anytime is devastating but when she's only 2 years old... . .... . Surgery, months of chemo and our special girl has come through as happy and delightful as ever, oh so loved and enjoying life. She's #cancerfree and excited to start living life as healthy 3 year old. 2020 you put a lot on our plates. As this year comes to a close, I'm grateful for our family and friends and how close all the challenges have brought us. We're grateful for the moments that made us smile and the love in our hearts. To use my daughter's words, Thank you family, friends, friends of family and family of friends for everything you’ve done to support our family. Yes! Consistency trumps perfection every time. Have you been inspired to make some new healthy habits? Maybe you've been inspired by the gorgeous food pics on Instagram or feel everything would be better if you joined a gym or a yoga studio. You get enthused and shop at Whole Foods and fill your fridge with fresh greens and restock your pantry with quinoa and hemp seeds. You committed to these new habits but before you know it, life gets in the way and slowly - o...ne treat at a time - you fall back into old habits. Fear not, it’s part of the process. Old habits occasionally rear their chocolate-doughnut-loving heads, but this doesn’t mean that you have failed. Building healthy habits requires a slow and steady mentality...and sometimes it's a two steps forward and one step back kind of process. It's the small steps you take consistently that make huge strides! See more
