Here are the tomatoes I'll be growing this year. If there are any that you particularly want, feel free to message me to reserve. FB has changed things around, so the easiest way for me to post these is as pictures. You need to click on the pictures to get all the info. If you'd rather have the information in Excel, message me and I'll send it to you.

Education and agriculture. We can choose a new normal.
Farm stand open today! 818 Geddes Rd. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Lots of seedlings for your garden with more on the way. I’ll have some things in the usual coconut coir pots, but I’m also using soil blocks this year. They essentially work on the same principle as coir pots: roots never circle like they can with plastic pots, they air-prune. You’ll notice a real difference when you plant them. No root disturbance and air-pruning means they just take off once they’re in the g...round. Also, no pots for you to deal with. You’ll see more and more of them here as I’ve had difficulty sourcing the coir pots at a reasonable price. Hope to see you here. In coir pots: Lettuce - Little Gem - Drunken woman - Tropicana - Plato II - Mottled loose leaf Spinach - Seaside Soil blocks: Onions - Newburg - Cabernet Broccoli - Calabrese Flowers - Calendula - Zinnias
I tried to edit my tomato post and finally gave up. I just needed to add one more. The new one is the last one in the second picture. If you've already ordered and want to change or add to your order, please message me. I won't be adding any more, so this is the complete list of what I'll have available this year.
We are excited to announce the pumpkin patch will be open 11-4 Saturday & Sunday, this coming weekend (Oct 10th & 11th) Please plan to follow our new Covid fr...iendly flow with a seperate entry and exit and only join us if all members of your party are feeling well. Sometimes it’s hard to see the forest from the trees. Or the carrots from the frog. Maybe check your produce, Jane.

My farm stand won’t be open tomorrow. I will be here, and feel free to order cherry tomatoes, full size tomatoes, zucchini, patty pan, green beans, ground cherries or apples and come and pick them up. Might take me a while to get orders together, but please be patient, I have new help . So far he’s all slobbery kisses and tail wags. Meet Fargo.
If you make chocolate zucchini bread, can you count a slice as a serving of vegetables? Asking for a friend.

Go visit Little Red Wagon Farm today!
So my blueberry guru/farmer/friend/dealer has introduced me to a new addiction grown by Snowy Mountain Organics in Cawston BC. Amazing white champagne peaches. Next to Damon's blueberries, I don't think I've ever tasted anything quite so amazing.

I moved here about 4 years ago with the idea that farming wasn’t much of a leap from what I had been doing. I had a business growing and selling certified organic seedlings and produce from my home in North Vancouver. The first place I offered on was a cute little farm on Reed Road. The house tanked on inspection. Nothing else came up that I thought could work. My youngest was going into grade 11, September had come and gone and I was getting a little bit desperate when...Continue reading
Farm stand open today (Saturday) until 6 pm. 818 Geddes Road. Black Currants Boysenberries Snap Peas Fresh Garlic... Carrots Kale Shelling Peas See more
Black currants! I love these things. There are so many ways to use them (check out Shadoblix Farm’s Black Currant Mustard and their Black Currant Shrub made with Tangle Rock Farm’s black currants), they are loaded with antioxidants & vitamins and they have enough natural pectin to eliminate needing store-bought. $5 per pound, $23 for 5 pounds. Please let me know if you prefer fresh or frozen - I have limited cold space so currants go in the freezer unless fresh is preferred.
Farm stand open until 6:00 pm today (Saturday). 818 Geddes rd. Kale, Carrots, Snap Peas, Shelling Peas, Black Currants, Fresh Garlic.
