Just over a year ago I was invited to capture photographs of local author Jenn Carson learning to surf in Cow Bay, NS with author and surf enthusiast, RC Shaw. I was newly pregnant, leaving behind my 2 year old for an entire weekend, and Covid still wasn't a real threat in the Maritimes. Oh how different life was then! Today, I finally got to see the photographs in print. This was such a fantastic experience and I'm so pleased that all our hard work has paid off, talk about crossing something very cool off the ole bucket list! The issue is on newsstands now, I highly recommend you check out Jenn's article and the whole magazine!
Hey Friends! I still exist. My life is hectic right now and, I will be honest, I have not really had any motivation to create anything. I think its a combination of pandemic fatigue (which I mean, I feel like *everyone* identifies with right now) and winter blues. I've even been slacking on capturing this little one. But I just had to take a couple photos today as tomorrow Cian will be 5 months and time is flying by. Anyways, I just wanted to share a photo of this perfect goober and check in. Hope I get to see you all eventually :)

I have been so MIA this summer. Covid, the heat, and a very pregnant lady don't mix! But this was all worth it. Cian Ezra Malcolm Scott was born on September 28th at 12:32pm at 9lbs, 12oz (yeah, no wonder I was huge..) and he instantly flooded our lives with joy. I am still recovering but we are all thriving as a family. <3 I won't be taking any commissions in the near future so I can focus on my little humans, I will likely get back to that in the new year. Thank you all for your support and stay tuned to see what life has in store for this chunky monkey. :)
Chepet (ketchup) chip face <3
Not gonna lie, I have been WARM this summer. Probably doesn't help that I am very pregnant lol. We've been living for all of the cool activities and thankfully Covid-19 risk in Woodstock has been low and the splash pad is open!
Mama and her boy <3
The Johnston family is one of my favourites and I can't wait to meet their newest member <3
I have been photographing Joseph since he was a baby and I love watching him grow. This frame was from a maternity session a few weeks back and I'm happy to say that Joseph is now a proud big brother to sister, Mackenzie!
