My granddaughter is going to love handing out these spooky boxes to her classmates this Halloween. I made them from September’s paper pumpkin that made fun crackers. I chose to change the kit to make these little gift boxes instead because I wanted to make more then the 20 crackers that kit originally made. I decorated the boxes with the goodies inside the kit but also added some black glitter paper bats and lots of wink of Stella on the hats and cats. The eyes of the cats (and the embellishments) were made by colouring the dark Mossy Meadow Blendie on clear rhinestones. I happened to have black rhinestones in my stash but you could also make your own by colouring with the dark Basic Black blendie again on clear rhinestones (you may have to colour them a couple of times to get a nice dark shade). To make these boxes, cut the cracker in half. Fold on the score lines as outlined in the 3rd photo. Cut out a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 window sheet. The window sheet will fit perfectly between the score lines The dimensions for the box that goes inside are 4 7/8 x 4 7/8. Score each side at 1 1/8. Cut as indicated in the 5th photo. Put your glue on the back side so that your tabs are on the inside of your box. See photo 6 Decorate to your hearts content.
