When the late addition of a 750,000 square foot mezzanine to Amazon's new warehouse threatened to delay their completion date, EBS Geostructural Inc. was Broccolini Construction’s first call. The new mezzanine columns needed to be supported on deep foundations to resist compression, tension and lateral loads.

Micropile Design Seminar - Thursday, March 5. Twenty-six people from 12 different companies joined EBS in Sudbury for a day of diving into the world of designing with Micropiles. During the daylong seminar participants explored, Design Theory, Materials and Testing, Design Examples and Case Histories. During breaks, attendees were able to speak with the team asking questions and seeking advice and sharing ideas.

Tension On-site There was a lot of Tension on-site today, about 100 kips. Peto MacCallum was on-site observing tension load tests before our team completed installation of helical piles at the Kitchener WWTP site.
