Eastern Canadian Cutting Horse Association (ECCHA) 23.04.2021

Hello Fellow Cutters, This is a friendly reminder that we are having a Ranch Cutting this Sunday August 19th at Vinette’s. Please call Denis Mireault to reserve the amount of cattle you would like to cut, Cell 450-898-8828... All of our Ranch Cuttings up to date have been very successful, friendly and enjoyable. We cut in the morning then stop for an early lunch and then back to cutting for early part of the afternoon. So don’t forget your lunch and water. See you Sunday.

NCHA LAUNCHES REGIONAL AWARDS PROGRAM FOR 2017 POINT YEAR The NCHA is proud to announce the implementation of a new awards program for the eight 2017 NCHA Regio...nal Championship Show and Regional Challenger Show Champions. In addition, Europe (Area 26) will receive both sets of awards. Custom-made spurs will be presented to the top five finishers in all Regions for all classes in each division. Rod’s (www.rods.com) will sponsor the awards program and provide the spurs. This will be the first year NCHA has recognized Regional Championship Show Champions and Regional Challenger Show Champions. It will include all weekend approved classes as well as Junior and Senior Youth Divisions. For purposes of the Regional Challenger Championship awards, Junior and Senior Youth will be calculated on the same point year as standard NCHA classes. The Regional Youth Championship awards are based on the NYCHA Youth point year (example: June 1, 2017, through May 31, 2018). All awards will be mailed at the end of their respective point year. NCHA Executive Director Chuck Smith says, We want to recognize these riders not only for their hard work and dedication to the sport, but also for their loyalty to NCHA. We’re especially excited to partner with Rod’s to bring this concept to life and truly appreciate all they have done to help make this happen. Following is how the awards process for Regional Challenger Shows is calculated: Top 5 point leaders will receive Rod’s spurs A minimum of 3 points is necessary in the region where show is held to qualify for awards To eliminate ties, the following tie-breaker rules will be used in the following order: o Cumulative dollars earned in the region o Total number of shows attended in the region o If still tied, total accumulated scores for the class Following is how the awards process for Regional Championship Shows is calculated: Top 5 money earners will receive Rod’s spurs. (Youth classes will be based on points) The Top 15 World Standing leaders qualifying for World Finals will be excluded from all Regional Championship awards because they will be receiving National awards The total number of shows attended in the region will be used to break ties LINKS Link to Challenger Standings: http://www.nchacutting.com///regional-challenger-standings Link to Championship Standings: http://www.nchacutting.com//regional-championship-standings
