You are going to love it - Malagasy Sounds of Canada starring a famous singer and guitar player from Toronto Donnie Roberts. He is a 2-times JUNO Awards winner and 2-times nominee. Donnie was born in Madagascar, raised in Russian and for the last 25 years he has been living in Canada. At the end of last year we finished shooting a documentary called Boris Volkoff - the Russian Father of the Canadian Ballet. The team enjoyed the whole process: we filmed in Toronto, Hamilton, Moscow, Tula (a city 200 km away from Moscow, Russia). The film tells an impressive story of Boris Volkoff, the choreographer and ballet teacher. Today, if you go to 771 Young Street, Toronto you will see a building with a memorial plaque that says "Boris Volkoff, the father of the Canadian ballet - this is the place where the first ballet studio in Toronto was opened in 1929 by the legendary Boris Volkoff.

Our filming crew went to the Korean Cultural Center of Toronto where we shot several wonderful interviews with the Korean Dance Studies Society of Canada. The artists told us about the history and traditions of #koreannationaldance, as well as about the ancient art of playing #koreandrums.
