It seems lists are all the rage for the new year. Here is my list of top 4 actions every owner or manager should take, regardless of your industry. Every business owner or manager I have ever met tells me that the most important source of revenue is recurring clients and/or referrals but few people are proactive about actually cultivating this channel. Here’s my advice: 1-Identify your top grossing client.... 2-Identify your oldest client. 3-Identify the client that is most active in providing you with referrals. (It’s remarkable how few managers can name these clients off the top of their head) 4-Call them and thank them for their business and referrals.
