Alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, cocaine, or any other compulsive use of substance and patterns of behavior that may give you temporary relief or pleasure but suffers negative consequences as a result of, and yet characterized by the tolerance and well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal. In the past decades, what we have learned about addiction can be summed up briefly by saying that ADDICTION IS NOT A CHOICE. It is NOT wh...at the medical tendency or the society perceived - an inherited brain disease, a weakness of character, a failure of willpower, or an ethical collapse. As a matter of fact, addiction is a response to human suffering which can be traced back to the childhood.
