Its finally here, the day we have been dreaming of for over six months - which translates to 17.5 years in covid time - e+a is officially re-opening our doors to the public starting tomorrow. For everyone that has supported us through these challenging times by shopping online and following our adventures on our socials, thank you, without your generosity this re-opening would have never been possible. Starting Thursday September 10 - aka tomorrow - our flagship store in Sca...rborough will be open once again to the general public for walk-ins and visits of all kinds from 11am to 4pm, Wednesdays to Saturdays. For those that prefer to continue to shop one-on-one with us, we will continue to offer private appointments every Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm (book online in advance to secure your spot). While it has felt like a lifetime since we last got to see all your smiley faces filing through our doors, eco+amour is thrilled to announce that we will be re-opening our flagship Scarborough store to the public starting Thursday, September 10! Our new hours of operation for drop-ins and fill-ups will be 11am - 4pm, Wednesdays (just not next Wednesday!) through Saturdays.... Because you asked for it, we will also continue to offer private one-on-one shopping outside of store hours each and every Thursday from 4pm - 7pm (book online in advance). Though things may look a little different around the shop, and there may be new health and safety protocols in place, the one thing that has not changed is our commitment to championing clean ingredients and conscious consumerism. Lets play two truths and a lie. (1) you should be wearing a mask (2) wearing a mask in the summer heat is horrid (3) Donald Trump is the smartest man alive and has all the best words . Masks are uncomfortable at the best of times, especially when you tack on heat and humidity. They are outright annoying, but that is not a valid reason not wear one . The fact is face masks work. They reduce transmission, helping to curb the spread of coronavirus and literally save... . Simply put, until we have a vaccine, widespread mask use is our best defence against this virus. Period . So if we are going to wear them in the heat, we might as well make the experience as comfortable as can be, which starts by getting a breathable mask made from the right material. Opt for fabrics that are either natural - like cotton - or synthetic fabrics that wick away sweat . A sweaty mask stinks - literally and figuratively. So have a few fresh ones in tow. That way if you sweat through one, you will have another at the ready. This can make you more comfortable and prevent breakouts, since sweat and the humidity in the mask area can lead to dermatitis or breakouts .
