A while back I shuttered @ecogagaknits as a business and made it my #raok HQ. This shawl - first one I’ve ever made - is a prayer shawl for my friend @l.christine.shepherd, after her mother passed in late 2019. It was clear to me when speaking with her that we don’t have a rite of passage to mark the deaths of our parents. This shawl was an attempt to bring joy and to mark a pretty significant moment in her life. Modeled by my good friend Christine and her wonderful cat, Tiny.
